I noticed on the Whispering Canyon Cafe menu that there is an all you can eat skillet as well as a list of entrees. Is the skillet included on the DDP?

Sorry - this may be somewhere on here but I searched and searched and the only thing I could find was that the all you can drink milkshake is included.

Thanks!

Yes, the skillet is included, for both adults and kids (no surcharge for kids).

They do different all you can eat skillets for breakfast, lunch and dinner-the luch and dinner ones are different to each other.
They are included on the dining plan. :)
The milkshakes can also be your drinks choice on the DDP-ask what flavours they do as they only lift chocolate/strawberry or vanilla on the menu. We got a cotton candy one and im sure she mentioned they did caramel plus another flavour too. When you get the free refills, you can ask for a different flavour.
We also ordered Coke for our dinks, however we were not charged for these-however I dont think this is the norm.
Its a fun restaurant, my favourite restaurant experience of the holiday :cool1:

It sounds like fun!! I've got an ADR for Sci-Fi but there are so many mixed reviews and even the "good" reviews say the food's not the best but it's "good" because of the atmosphere. I'd like to find a place that has good food and good atmosphere - WCC sounds like it fits the bill. I've seen some bad reviews of WCC but not nearly as many as with Sci-Fi. And it's out of the way for our plan for the day BUT...with all the good reviews I've got to give bottomless milkshakes and all you can eat BBQ a chance! Cotton candy milkshakes - sounds delish!

The "extra" milkshake flavor when we were there last month was orange. My son gave it a try- it was not a big hit!

PS WCC was great, as was the skillet.

The only thing I would say is I thought the quality of the ribs could have been better. They looked good, were hot and fresh but were very tough and very spicy-which I was not expecting. The rest was good though :)

We ate at WCC 6 years ago and decided to go there for our trip next summer. Can't wait! We will be a large group since we are going with extended family, but the rest of my family are not Disney nuts like my husband and myself, so we will ask them to ask for ketchup, not knowing what will be coming their way :rotfl:

As I find with many restaurants, the food quality is based on what you order - some menu items are good, some aren't. At WCC, the dinner skillet was a hit with us. However, the brisket was horrible & we preferred the ribs & pulled pork vs the chicken (didn't get any sausage). So, we didn't eat the brisket & chicken & for our refill we asked for a skillet with only the ribs & pulled pork - it was great!

For our upcoming visit, we've decided to advise the server not to bring us any salad, beans, cornbread, brisket, or chicken, since we prefer to fill up on the ribs & pulled pork with cole slaw, corn on cob, & shakes.

Enjoy your skillet & shakes!
