Gaylean...

I always apologize to my sister ahead of time for all the bad things I am going to teach them while they are with me... :rotfl2:

I couldn't apologize that much....I have him a few times a week! Every time he gets sick, it's my kid's fault and every time he gets a bad habit, my kids taught him! I guess the good news is, they really TEACH him everything :teacher: Brooke made flash cards the other day to help with his letters and sounds ;)

Ok... it is official...

I passed one stone and found another... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

I'm sitting here with a full litre of lime juice (no vodka...:headache: ) and I have to drink this and see if it moves...

Pain is not fun...

But my mommy :cutie: is taking very good care of me and is going out later to get me rainbow sherbert...

I love my mommy... :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc

I'm sorry to hear about the pain. I've never heard of drinking lime juice for that. It seems with everything we can do medically they would have come up with a better solution than just let it pass. I've never had one but I hear it is one of the worst pains in the world :confused3 Since I had two babies and gallstones, it is hard to imagine it would be much worse than that.

I think they all do and some point or another. My sister just doesn't remember the first two and her youngest is only four and he is at my house all the time so he'll learn really quick :lmao:

:rotfl2:

Marilyn, did you cancel your cruise in May to go in September?

We did. Plans at the moment are for a 4/5 week trip to the west coast but i can't work it all out yet. Should be mid May to Mid June I think. It is where to spend Memorial Day weekend that is giving me a headache.

Good idea Michelle.:rotfl:

Oh no Michelle. How awful. Do you have a tendency to these stones then? I hope it passes very quickly.

I make a blanket apology... covers everything... I also promise to feel them good food, breathe clean air and do educational things... (I'm the AUNT for Criss Sakes!!!!) Right Monica???

I hear they are worse than labor, but not having been in labor... ya got me... They say use lime juice cause the citrites break down the stone. I'm going to try my other "cure" later which is the olive oil and the lime juice but it tastes like drinking a bottle of lemony salad dressing and it makes me  for a while...

They run on my fathers side... I inherited those, the fat hips, white hair and bad sinuses from his side... At least I didn't inherit all the other crappy traits...:scared:

It's been 3 years since I've had this much pain. I am used to being in pain from my neck and shoulder - so I have pain meds on me for emergencies... I just don't want to have to go to the ER and have them send me home and tell me to drink lime juice... after having a cat scan, etc... I'll have to see what's what...

So now you don't have to go meet everyone on the Sept thread because it is all the same people you are talking to now ;)

Well, when I was in labor with Ethan I screamed "This should be illegal". I told my mom, that had four kids, "You don't know what this feels like, if you did, you would have warned me not to have kids". It doesn't help when you have a nine pound baby in between your legs and they tell you not to push until the doctor comes. My mom was shocked because she thought I had a high pain tolerance.

There are plenty on the cruise thread that I don't know, but not many are posting at the moment. The following week is even less chatty, but they all seem nice folk.

So you're cheating on us

This is the logo, unless it gets changed as not many folk have been on to see it yet.

Didn't you know to shout... "I WANT MY EPIDURAL!!!!"

There are only certain times in life when I condone massive amounts of drugs... short lived intense pain periods like labor and kidney stones...

When I got to the hospital I was too far along for an epidural. With Brooke I was worried about the same thing so they gave it to me early and it wore off and the doctor that administers that (I can't spell it) was doing a c section and couldn't come and give me more drugs. It was alright with her because I had a really good nurse. When I told her I needed to push she stretched me so I was dilated to 10 instead of telling me to wait for the doctor. I guess it is customary to push the baby almost out and then call the doctor but my babies come out with a push or two so after he was out she told me she was going to get the doctor and not to push. I pushed anyway. So I had third degree lacerations and had to be stitched for three hours. Now that hurt with no epidural :scared1:

I know. There are about 20 of us from here on the 12th Sept cruise.

If only we could roll the clock back.:confused3 :sad1:

I hope 2010 brings a bigger reunion.:cool1:

I hope 2010 brings my lotto winnings and then we'll go anywhere you want us to!

Michelle, can you get an injection for the pain?

So far I'm relying on pain meds and chocolate... Ian says that's a party... (& right now... I feel like the morning after road kill...)

And we wonder why men don't have babies...

Well, actually we don't wonder... we KNOW!!! :lmao:
