Well, my current dog-sitting job ends today. I'm really ready to get back to my own house.

I want to work on my pictures this week and get some more posted. Jan, I went to look for my pictures of Ken Puckett and I don't have any that are very good, that's why I didn't post any. I have a cute one of him and Capt. Mickey on crossing day but it's taken from above so you can't see his face very well. Maybe I'll post it anyway, later.

Today I'm going to see "Get Smart" with some friends. Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!

Ooooooooo...blueberry bushes! I LOVE blueberries. I'm not so keen on sliced avocados but I do like guacamole!

I had to stop and make myself a bowl of cereal with blueberries--yum!

Just picked a whole bowl of blueberries, strawberries, oranges, beets and garlic chives. Feel like a farmer today.

We bought a Wii

If anyone else is still looking run to Target! Ours had a bunch and my sisters in NC too so it seems like probably everywhere got some in.

No Wii Fit yet but I'll keep looking for that too.

Any hints and tips? John struggles most of the time but enjoys it. He really is only doing the basic he has to to move on - not getting artefacts etc. I think he might go back later to see if he can do better.

We have a dummy date booked in the hope that 2010 brings better itinaries. If not we are going in Dec 2009.
We are also going back to Hawaii Aug 2009 since Brent has never been and wants to see the volcano.

I think secretly he is. How could anyone not like avocados. life without guacamole is no life at all.

There's a sandwich shop I get lunch from about 3 days a week, and I always get the same kind of sandwich, a veggie one with sprouts and guac (and I ask for extra guac)! YUMMMMMMMY!

Hey Woody and Tracy, I just heard that 500,000 people went to the beach by your house!

I wouldn't be at all surprised! I wouldn't know because I won't leave my bedroom with its little window air conditioning!I simply cannot believe it's 96 degrees at my house. We woke up this morning ant it was 86 IN THE HOUSE!! Oh, well, I'm taking a page from your book and going through all the drawers and cleaning out. That will take me a week, anyway!!!

I've just never seen it this hot here for this many days in a row.

Actually I have to leave now because we're driving Erik down to San Diego for a week of Leadership camp. At least the car is air conditioned.

Kelly, I put some of my precious cardboard boxes in the recycling when I got home today. That may not sound like a big deal to you, but believe me, it's a big deal for me! You're a good influence on me! Tomorrow I plan to clean out a couple of cupboards. I have one in my kitchen that has corningware stuff in it that I haven't touched in years! I hope I don't chicken out. Maybe when I see you in Sept. you can tell me about selling on eBay.
