Well, it's better than nothing! :goodvibes And seeing the smile on Tyler's face when he saw his, that's good enough for me! :thumbsup2

This was an improvement over our last trip - we got the cd in 2 pieces and they never sent the replacement.

Sounds like a perfect plan! Hmmm.....maybe that's how I can get my house clean. Marry somebody who likes to clean. While I'm at it, I'd better find a guy who likes to cook too. ;)

Nah don't worry about the cooking part - Darrell has gotten to the point where he even suggests cereal for dinner. It's what we had tonight!

Oh, that's a bummer! That would make me want to send Micky to a time-out....BAD mouse! ;)

:rotfl2: I tried suggesting that but Tyler looked at me like I was nuts and told me, "Mom, we can't have breakfast for dinner!" That kid needs to learn! I love cereal for dinner in the summer!

Hi everyone!!

Hi Nan!!

Dance recitial weekend....I am exhausted. 7am till 8pm today and again tomorrow.

Thunderstorming like crazy right now in DC.

Vanessa goes home on Tuesday and I am freaking out!! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Just think of the relationship you will have forever. I know a family that has "sisters" and "brothers" all over the world. I hope to do this too when the kids are older. Jon had one from China when he was a teen. It just seems like a good experience,

OK, I'm off to close windows (I first typed winders :rotfl2: ). It's cold (in the 50s). When I was on the phone with the guy from my mortgage company, he asked how the weather is in Michigan, at that moment it was just below 60 and he laughed and told me if it were that temp where he is (in FL - I think Orlando) everybody would be wearing winter coats. :rotfl: I wanted to tell him I knew all about that from V on the DIS! :lmao:

Goodnight for real this time. :cloud9:

We're 1959 and gray minivan!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Mrs. Woody is such a traveller... tell her we are doing the princess puzzle tonight while watching the Olympic trials.

Did anyone watch the men's Olympic trials?? Man it was exciting.. Women tonight. In 1972 I went to the Olympic trials to see Cathy Rigby - I thought I'd be on the team by the time I was 14 and a sports broadcaster by the time I was 18. Way back then my parents told me that "Women didn't get to be sportscasters" I was so foolish to listen to them!

Now that I think about it that might have been when I stopped listening to them.

Our mini van is sage.

Well we spent today running around had a bunch of errands to run.

Even had an identity theft scare.

Went to a credit union to open a savings account and the woman enters my SS number and asks if I have a PO Box in FL. Well I don't and never have so I had to come home and get all my credit reports. 2 out of 3 were fine and the 3rd said it wasn't available to me on-line and I would have to send away for it.

Does anyone know if this is normal or not? I'm really leary of mailing a copy of my SS and paystubs to get the 3rd one.

I would love to do that too, but I think the exchange student would get bored with just me & Tyler around. Or maybe it would just make for an even closer bond.

Pancakes are good for dinner on snow days :thumbsup2

We used to have to send away for them so I would think it would be OK. Maybe you could look on the actual website for that credit report and call them. I wouldn't take any chances since my identity was stolen last year. It is easier to recover than people make it out to be though. It is still annoying.

That's why I want to wait until the kids are teens so they can help out and they can do a few things on their own.

Oh my gosh - Darrell gets like that too. We've already decided that the day after the movers take our stuff I'm going to work while Darrell stays home and cleans. Work is better than cleaning to me!

And this will work much better since we then have to spend 5 days in the car together so we'll start on a much happier note!

I find it's always better to hide! (Going to work is the next best thing too!)

MICHELLE: Mom is Joaning?

Jan :earsgirl:

Yes. From time to time, Sukie gets into what I call his "Mommy Dearest" mood. It usually involves some chore or cleaning around the house.

I find that it is always better to either hide in the basement or leave the house.

Yes... mom gets into these "moods" whenever company is coming (it was my brother and my nephew this time) where she feels that she has to clean the entire house from top to bottom... only she starts in the walk in closet... one place nobody is going to see when they are here. She used to pull this every Xmas eve... I had company coming in the house and she was arranging the spring clothes... gotta love her... We usually have a stress induced fight in the middle... she yells and I usually tell her that if she's going to yell this year... pick up the phone and call my sister in TX... she shouldn't be left out of all this fun.... :duck:

Hi Lisa!!!

Can't believe she's going home so soon!!! Lots of memories!!! Thank God for the internet so you can keep in touch!!

Hey Woody and Tracy, I just heard that 500,000 people went to the beach by your house!

Oh that's a normal day at the Jersey Shore!!!

Love James Taylor, what date is he playing, maybe my boyfriend and I should make a trip down south for a date night???

Does Paul know about this???? ;)

So Tyler has a fish extender hanging on his bedroom door, ever since we've been home. I told him not to expect to find anything in it every day! ;) BUT.....starting the first time he went back to his dad's, every Saturday when he returns he finds something small in the bottom pocket. One time it was a $1 packet of Spiderman stickers he can color and the package had markers in it, another time it was the Mickey fire department badge from Monica, one item I can't remember, and today I put about 8 rolls of Smarties in there. He asked me if I know where this stuff is coming from and I told him maybe Tinkerbell wants to keep the magic going, or maybe Captain Hook or MIckey. He's decided he's convinced Mickey is bringing him magic every week! :goodvibes And today, he told me maybe we left some Smarties in our room on the ship and Mickey brought them back to us. :lmao:

Nah... Minnie would have scarfed those suckers down in seconds!!! :rotfl: She would have had to fight Daisy for them!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: ME? No, I'm quiet as a mouse. ;)

:lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh....Sure...

I took a nap... closed the door and just let her be... it's the only way to survive...

Someday I will miss it... today.... um... NO.
