Hi everyone....I got on today and the DIS told me the last time I logged on was 7.12!! YIKES!!!! Where does the time go? I have been so swamped with work but I know it will pay off soon and I can have more time to DIS. I hope everyone is doing well. I know Gaylean is heading out for a fun filled weekend drinking Sangria. anyone else have great plans?
I hope to stay more in touch, but the next month is a crunch time for me with the business and then I should be able to breath (and plan a disney vacation! )

You know . . . . . . . . . all reports are that wouldn't be the case. This young man was on track to replace our starting free safety that will be drafted in the first round of the NFL draft next year. He would have ended up a three year starter - he was that good. Word is that he was just an all around wonderful young man. Folks jump from that bridge all the time - heck I have done it at least 10 times. After he jumped from the bridge, he started to swim towards the shore and began to struggle. These rivers are all snow run-off and the water can be extremely cold. This was a heavy snowfall this year and water temperatures are in the high 50's right now, water levels are high, and the current is pretty swift. Who knows what really happened.

But . . . . . . . with some of the statements, your question really draws just more questions.

We don't know his family, though we did meet him this past fall in the Casanova Center after a game.

We have season tickets, but only make it to a few games a year. Living in Arizona makes it tough. We end up selling most of our tickets to some friends. But, we have to keep our seats!! We've had season tix for 15 years. Oregon is really a close knit University and Eugene is the perfect college town. It is small and everyone runs into everyone.

I used to teach Statistics while I was a GTA and several of my students were on the football team. One of which went on to play for the Washington Redskins - we ended up being pretty good friends. What was really strange was running into him in DC after we moved there the following year. He ended up getting player tickets for us one game - it was awesome. We still exchange Christmas cards every year.

She doesn't live there anymore. We moved her down to San Jose (actually she is in Los Gatos) after my dad died 2+ years ago. The darn house has been onthe market for a long time now....
