Good Morning

Made me some goooooood Sangria tonight!!!! Gaylean that is a great recipe. I added the fridge leftovers of cran-rasberry juice and stale Sprite. It was really good. THANKS :thumbsup2

I hope you keep some for me ;)

Hello all..Hope everyones 4th weekend was fabulous.

I am JEALOUS...my good friends boarded OUR MAGIC today! How dare they! This is their first cruise ever. They were so excited. I spoke with them this morning as they were driving to the port. I gave them some names of employees and told them to say hi from the large group of disboarders!

Have a great night all!

Steph

Hi Steph

Awww, I know that feeling. Hope they have a great times.

None of our plans happened today because I was up basically all night because my head was pounding so hard. Major migraine. It go so bad that I was getting nauseous lying in bed from the heaving pounding, nothing would work to get rid of it, and the only relief I got was from using an ice pack. It didn't make the migraine go away, but numbed it so I could get a bit of sleep. Just awful. Rotton day, really couldn't do anything because I could barely lift my head, let alone get up off the couch.

What a horrible night and then day for you Holly. I so hope you can get something to help you with these dreadful migraines when you go to the clinic.

I keep dialing room service, but no-one ever brings anything. There must be something wrong with the service on this ship ... hey wait, I'm not on the ship anymore.

Room service stopped here a few weeks ago!!:sad2: Terrible service and so NO tips.

Speaking of ice cream, today we went to Disney's Soda Fountain. YUM!

Woody

Mmmmmm, I want a Black and White Sundae please.

Happy Anniversary Marilyn and John

Hope you both had a wonderful day!

Kathe

Thank you Kathe, we did.:)

Yup, it finally went away around 7pm. Tyler was a good sport about being trapped inside with not much to do. He's got enough toys to keep him busy, but I still felt bad for him basically being on his own. :guilty: He brought a blanket to me on the couch at one point, with a stuffed animal too. He definitely deserves to go out for ice cream after karate tomorrow! Of course, that will be dinnertime, but he deserves the treat.

He is such a loving child Holly.

Tyler and I have this thing we do every now and then where we take turns saying "I love you more than ____________" and we keep taking turns until one of us can't think of anything creative and ends it with saying "I love you all the way to the moon and back". That's sort of how we end it. Well, he just got up to go to the bathroom and he came to give me a hug and I told him I'm sorry he had a boring day stuck inside while my head was hurting so bad. He told me it's OK and said, "Wanna know how much I love you? More than all the freckles you have". :rotfl: That's a new one and just cracked me up! I just love how sweet kids are at this age. :lovestruc

He is going to win over the ladies when he is older!;)

Goodnight all. Seems I only get a few minutes here and there to try to get caught up and then it's late and I need to get some sleep before heading on back to work. I've gone from having an "empty nest" since a year ago May to living with a teenager and a 9 month old this week! Quite a transition   ;) I love having my GD Serenity here :cloud9: She is such a sweetheart. She is such a happy content baby. She isn't crawling yet, but just since moving in Tuesday, she has learned to pull herself forward, so combined with the rolling she is all over the place! Very exciting and scary all at the same time  Then there's her mom...I mentioned teenager...right:rolleyes: She is doing such a super job as a mom...most of the time...but then every once in a while she acts like a typical teenager...mood swings and all. Thank heavens I haven't started going through mood swings yet myself :rotfl:

Kathe

So glad things are working out with having Serenity and her mom staying with you.

I remember(oh yes I can still remember)I was a teenager when my mum was going through the menopause in the days when there was no HRT - it wasn't an easy time I can tell you.:scared1:

Good Morning

I hope you keep some for me ;)

Scottishwee35

come on over, it's still chilled ;)

I've been surfing the web all night over my Bachelorette addiction...who will she pick? I still hope it's Jason, but I fear it's Jesse.:sad2:

Oh I'm so fed up of our wet weather. It is becoming our normal summer weather now and it is so depressing.

I spend a long time browsing online for flights, accommodation, and what to do for our 2 big vacations next year. I'm so blessed being able to get away so often and to so many great places I know. Been a long time coming.

I can not believe the costs of flights for next year. I thought it was due to the fuel prices etc, but if you look at the breakdown of the fare the basic cost is terrible. I can't think people are going to book at those prices so either there will be big sales, or the airlines will cut flights etc.

I have been eatting bar of chocolates:eek: i blame the weather :rotfl:

Scottishwee35

Chocolate helps!!!:lmao:

Europe is too expensive to go to too. Well you can get there but it is too expensive to eat!

I need to find a good way to bring up the topic to Tyler's dad about not discussing adult issues with Tyler. Tyler was telling me over the weekend about his stepmom's parents' custody battle as a child and how she had to go talk to the judge and the judge was mean, etc. Also, a 6 year old has no business watching the news....there's nothing there kids need to know about. ALSO, there's no reason Tyler needed to know I was married in the past. Those idiots need to remember that Tyler is a kid, and NOT their buddy to share adult stories with. I swear, I want to slap them.

I have been sooooooooooooo UN productive this weekend! The only thing on my list that I did do was some laundry....I lost power yesterday for about 1 1/2 hrs so ended up going to Starbucks for a nice drink and some reading.

Today has been spent watching movies -" Ballykissangel show. quote]

Why did you lose your power? Storm? And I LOVE the Ballykissangel series.......when we went to Ireland a few years ago, they gave me the choice of where to go on our way to Waterford, I ALMOST chose Ballykssangel ( I mean the town they filmed the series at), but we went to Newgrange, a prenistoric site.......I sure wish we had done both!

I really want to go back to Ireland again.......I want to visit the GAlway area this time. Although I would go back to Dublin again....

My ancestors came from Northern Ireland in the 1640's......they lived in County Armagh....someday perhaps.......

We didn't go to WDW to see the fireworks this year. My mom was here and she isn't dong very well.. I am so glad I got her to rent a mobile home in Sugar Mill in St. Cloud. It's only 15 miles from me, We'll be able to see each other every day if we want to. I think she'll be much better if I get her to do more walking, and tkaing better care of herself and getting her mind off her troubles.

Hi Connie - glad you were able to find a place close by for your mom. I had posted something a while ago about Vista del Lago in case you hadn't thought of that.

When I was in Ireland in '06 I made a point to go to where they filmed the show - saw the church & the main street - kindof cool. My parents of course had no clue what I was talking about.

I have been playing with where I'm going to go next year for my 40th...

Am looking at:
Mexico - Dreams Tulum (all inclusive)
Curacao - Breezes (all inclusive)
Turks & Caicos - Beaches, Sibonne, or if I can trade timeshare The Alexandra (only Beaches is All inclusive)

Any thoughts, anyone???

I can't look at flights yet (too early) but I wouldn't mind putting down a deposit for the hotel sooner vs later.

Can you tell I don't want to focus on my normal everyday life???:lmao:

morning...Nan - I am addicted to the Bachelorette tooo.....have you checked out fans of reality tv.com? It's more addictive than the DIS!

Maybe pick 2 and do a week at each! :goodvibes I'm right there with you, in 2 years I want to do something major for my 40th. Heather & I talked about doing a cruise and leaving our kids at home. :thumbsup2

This darned migraine is starting to come back. I can't believe this crap. Well, the good part about that is that maybe it will still be pounding for my 3 hours of testing tomorrow and they'll get to see my head in action. Might be helpful. :thumbsup2

So does this mean you're meeting w/ the clinic tomorrow?

Sorry that you feel bad--hope they can figure something out that will help you.

Yup, I meet with the neurologist there for whatever testing they want to do. :thumbsup2 They told me to plan on being there AT LEAST 3 hours, so I'm assuming that means they're going to do lots of in-depth testing. Thank goodness!
