I know the official check in time is 4 pm, but has anyone been able to check in earlier? We'll be there around 11 am

We have checked in before noon on several occasions. The "official" answer is 4 PM checkin, but if they have a room available they'll usually let you check in early.

You know about the "Parking Pass" desk...right? (Timeshare sales trap)

We were able to check in early afternoon (1ish) when we stayed there this past spring break.

Along a similar vein here, I think I saw that check-out time is 10 am. Is it possible to get a later check-out time? Thanks!

Generally, no. And that is typical of most timeshares -- they operate at pretty high capacity and really don't have the flexibility to allow late check-OUT.

Uhh - no - spill the beans :)

This will be my first stay there too, but I believe I read in another post (that I can't find now) that you don't have to stop at the desk to get a parking pass. You can park just fine without it.

I hope someone who has stayed there recently will verify if this is true or not. I would rather not hassle with it if it's not necessary.

When you complete your checkin at the front desk, you will be directed to another desk to pick up your "Parking Pass." That desk is manned by Wyndham timeshare sales personnel, who are among the sleaziest in a sleazy industry. I think only Westgate is worse.

The objective of those sales personnel is to get you to sign up for a sales presentation. They will offer you a gift card (usually $75) for attending the "90 minute informational program." The sales pitch, in reality, lasts anywhere from 2-4 hours, is very high pressure, and virtually anything they tell you is an absolute lie.

When you decline the initial offer, they will ask you to "take a survey." The "survey" is a sales pitch. Same drill.

They will also call your room (we unplug our phone -- anybody we want to talk to has our cells), and occasionally will drop by your room unannounced saying you forgot to pick up your "welcome gifts." If you let them in your room, they simply will not leave.

The parking pass is NOT needed. To enter the WBC gate, you need your room key, not the silly parking pass.

My recommendation is to skip the parking pass desk altogether.

Wyndham is a good timeshare system, with over 80 resorts in more than 50 locations in the US. If you want to buy Wyndham, you can do so for $1 on eBay -- rather than paying $20,000+ buying from the sales weasels.

Other than the sales weasels, the WBC staff is great and you'll have a great vacation...as long as you avoid the weasels.
