Ways to help kids burn off energy in the winter?

I bought my youngest a chin-up or pull up bar that goes in the door frame and she can hang, swing, flip, or do chinups/pullups with it. I found one on clearance for $4.80 but these ones generally run about $10. After today I do NOT want to be outside for much of anything unless it is above freezing.

ETA - My daughter's lungs can't handle extremely cold air and today ended up being painful on her.

My DD is also going crazy. She is now 5 but missed the kindergarten cut off and all the other kids don't get off the bus until 3:45, then it is dark an hour later... the only time she is with other kids is at preschool that ends at 11:30.

I found a roller skating rink nearby that is pretty cheap, if you do a lesson on Sat ($6) it includes rental and you can stay for the first session that would normally cost $6. I don't have to pay to get in and they have free wi-fi :thumbsup2
