Okay, I can remember reading, maybe over a year ago, some great ideas on ways to personalize your strollers. Of course I can't remember what those ideas where. I am bringing my own stroller from home - I think- for my DD4!!!

And can you give advise on ways to prevent your stroller from being stolen while on rides or viewing shows. How often are strollers stolen?

Also, it seems like I read somewhere that a person can buy a stroller at Disneys lost and found (strollers that people abandoned in the parks). If this is true how much do they usually run?

I might bring my stroller if there is room. This year my husband insist on driving the car instead of my SUV - its a stick!!!

Any advise would be great!!!!:earseek:

I don't have children, so I've never rented a stroller, but someone on these boards posted a helpful stroller tip. Apparently, they dumped soda or lemonade, or some sort of liquid all over a diaper and hung it on the stroller handle....(I think it was probably soda). Coffee might be good, too. Anyway, no one came near their stroller!

It made me laugh...plus it seems effective.

I was going to post this! LOL! I wonder if anyone has actually done it??? I'm sure it would get some classic reactions! LOL!!

In past years, we took a smaller stroller and decorated it. But, last week I took our big, expensive stroller and had no problems. I took purple metallic wire w/stars, that you can find at Party City or the Dollar Tree, and tied it all around the "legs/metal" of the stroller. And, I took one of the mini-license plates that you can get for bicycles (at Walmart), and put scrapbook stickers on it, with my dd's name. I had holes drilled into the front of the snack tray, to let the license plate hang down. It was cute!

Lots of stuff in my stroller all week, and noone ever messed with it. Not even hats that we would leave hanging on the stroller!

Great minds, liznboys, great minds.....

BTW, what lovely pictures! Especially love the Monsters, Inc. one...I've never seen those characters in the flesh before.

Most people don't experience problems with stolen strollers, but it does happen. I've read a couple of posts on this board by people who have had their strollers stolen, in spite of being personalized with ribbons, etc.

We usually go once a month, and bring our old Kolcraft Ranger stroller (with lime green ribbons!) We leave the diaper bag in it while we go on rides/attractions, but there is never anything in there that we'd be very upset over losing. I've also read plenty of posts about things going missing from strollers, such as blankets, jackets, toys, souvenirs, etc.

If you are concerned about your stroller being stolen, you can use a cable lock through the front wheels.

Thank you! :) We got lucky and stumbled upon Mike and Sulley at MGM. We were just walking along when this big door opened up and there they were standing in a sort of alcove. It was cool, they are big characters as you can see! Dh had to hold ds as he was a bit intimidated by them. He was SO excited he got to see them though! :)

I took shocking pink puffy paint and wrote our name and state on the sun hood and back of our stroller. Then I put pink and lime green masking tape on the handles. Sure could pick it out in a crowd!:teeth:
