Well friends, I could not help myself, I took all the kittens out today. I have been bringing them out 2 at a time and leaving one but today I just thought it would be nice to have them all out.

The mom is mostly feral but I can pet her in the morning when I give her food. She had them in a hole in the hay barn. Now she has moved them to the pallets under the snowmachines!!! Something could eat them there! What can I do to get her to put them back in the hay barn???

Please help, I don't want a fox or coyote eating them. I know I should have left them alone and I caused this but I want them to be tame, not feral.

Thanks, April

OOhh, cute kitties! Do you know approx. how old they are? I didn't know if they still need momma milk, or if they are okay without. I don't know if you can convince her to move them back to the hay barn - is there anyway to lock up where she has them? Or maybe keep the kittens inside somewhere at night so you don't have to worry about the wild animals?

Good luck!

They are adorable and look old enough to be away from mom. Find indoor homes for them before anything happens to the cutie pies.

I don't think they are ready to leave mom yet as they are still nursing. Maybe 3-4 weeks old. No teeth yet. I sent DH to the store to buy wet cat food and we are going to build a house out of hay bales and see if she will keep them in the place we build. If not I will just bring them inside everynite.

Thanks friends. I sure do like them and DH reminds me all the time they are barn cats. DS has bad allergies to cats.

Oh my, what adorable babies! They look siamese, no? I would find them good homes and try and capture the mom and at least get her spayed. Friends of animals will give you a certificate for feral cats for a small donation

They are part siamese. Dad is siam and mom is a grey. Out here cats are a valueable resourse as they eat mice so we want them around.

Mom didn't keep them in the barn she dragged one under the shed so we lured it out and built a nice den in the barn, inside and made a way for mom to get in but she has to go over the top beam so she can't take them away again!!!!

I swear, I have really messed up this time but I so desperately want them to be tame. Wrong move on my part.

I will most likely go to the vet in the morning with one to get their approx age and some kitten milk formula and go back to the 3 am feedings for 11 days. I have a Disney trip and need them eating wet food in 11 Days:scared1:
