Way OT - I have heard of Imaginary Friends, but my daughter has an Imaginary Ghost?..

I could go on and on about our family. I will just give a few examples....
When DS 15 was also in the 2 year old range we went by a telephone pole that I had gone by dozens of times in my life. DS said to the effect, look Mom that is where I died. I told him no, he was alive and well. No, he said, when I had my other Mommy, the one before you:confused: Sure enough, shortly before he born there was a car accident there where a little boy had passed away.
Other DS, who is 12 now; his grandfather was leaving here and DS asked him if he had our phone number on him, in case he broke down or had flat tire. Well, sure enough, 4 miles down the road my father had a flat tire:rolleyes1
My cousins have said that they saw their grandfather in a deer. It was his blue eyes, but in a deers body.
I believe that we even as adults can "see", we are just too busy!
In short, yes I believe your child sees something. Unless it scares them I would just enjoy the fact you have a very special child. :goodvibes

When I was really young I had imaginary ghost friends.I used to talk about them like they were real. They were not real.I have 4 kids and lots of nieces and nephews and I can tell you that kids that age do have imaginary friends.Your DD probably saw something about ghosts on tv and thats where she got the idea. Dont start believing in ghosts because your DD's imaginary friend is a ghost. If your DD's imaginary friend was a elf would you think that there was an elf if your house.(sorry if that sounds mean)

personal note- when I was 3 I told my mother about who I used to be. I also once pointed out where I died and how. I would look for a book or somthing smillar on the subject. i would try to encorage her to talk about her ghost freind. theres nothing creepy about it. I would just say to her, "this is something we can talk about at home, ok?"
