Our youngest daughter would like to participate in evey trip, sport and activity coming and going. So, we made a rule that if it cost more than $150 she must pay half. She's much more selective now.
The last two years she has sold Christmas cookies. She sent out emails to school and church members and flyered our neighborhood with the activity that she is raising funds for. She has made $300+ both years. Many folks have even sent notes about how responsible she is and adding a "tip". One tip was $50. Everyones hoping that she continues to bake their cookies for them!
She also had to go to the store to price out what her cost would be to help her in pricing her cookies.
This has been a great way for her to make money as she is not old enough to go to a traditional job. (she's a new 15)
Just thought I'd pass on a fundraiser that has been very successful for us.

That is a great idea! Also wrapping presents would be a good one too. Some people hate to wrap. I on the other hand LOVE wrapping presents!

We LOVE wrapping presents too. I was really shocked at the amount of folks who are happy to let someone else do their baking. She offered 4 types of cookies and egg noodles. Started advertising beginning of December and still getting orders. She didn't have time for as much advertising this year. She made close to $500 last year.
