Our WaWa's suck to put it nicely.
As far as I can tell, the store inside is fine but no one really gets into the food or beverages around here like they do in other locations. Not sure why that happens and why they have "let themselves go" here. Now, the Costco gas station is fabulous, although there is no retail store associated with it. The gas pumps are immaculate and well-maintained and the workers are constantly cleaning it. The ground around isn't littered with garbage and oil stains.I have to agree with you.
WaWa came to our area about 12 years ago and they were wonderful. Clean, great prices. It seems that they haven't cleaned them in 12 years now. The pumps are run down and dirty. The exterior of the Wawa is just dirty. Like they need to comei n with a big power washer and clean the whole area.As far as I can tell, the store inside is fine but no one really gets into the food or beverages around here like they do in other locations. Heck our's don't even sell gas so it's just the store & I love how the article states that they're staffed by a dozen peaople. Heck last time I went in there was like 1 person manning the slurpee machine & watching the hotdogs go around on the spinners. Not what I'd call fresh food. Wawa's skeeves me. Our's have been here for over 30 years so maybe that's why.
Wawa is a shore tradition! There are none in northern NJ so when we go down the shore, we have to stop! Being in Louisville now, I miss it a lot. Whenever we drive home and hit one in Pennsylvania, we must stop!![]()
