I've read about a lot of people on these boards doing WATP. What is it? I assume it stands for Walk Away the Pounds, but what is it and what does it involve?

There are many different tapes, but they all involve very simple movements and exercise that equal to whatever the amount on the tape says. I have done the 1, 2 and 3 mile tapes with weights and have loved it. The moves are simple and doable, and you don't feel like a clutz doing it. I was able to do the 1 mile esily. The two mile is 30 minutes long and incorporates hand weights, or ab belt. The three mile the same thing.

Good luck with them if you try them. I love them and felt very comfortable doing them.

Glo explained it pretty well. I've been doing them about a month now and I really enjoy them. I've done the 1, 2 and 3.:)

I just bought this program at Target yesterday so I have only done the 1-mile program once but I think it is a nice program if you are not super coordinated and don't have a lot of room.

PAdisMom,
A huge lover of WATP tapes here!! Go to www.lesliesansone.com for more information, or check at Target where you can by them by a set or individually. I love them because you just need a vcr or dvd player and some floor space. :) I can't quite get up to a 15 minute mile on a treadmill but I can do a 15 minute mile with Leslie! :) I also love the fact that they incorporate upper body work while you are walking. Just when you think you can't march anymore, you switch to knee lifts. That starts getting too hard and you switch again. There is marching, kicks, back-kicks, knee lifts, side to side stepping. The time just flies by!! (Gee - can I you tell that I like them?? )
