Watershoes at BB or TL or in pool

My husband is diabetic and has very sensitive feet, so he'll be using watershoes. Do they allow them in the pools? Also, I know you can't wear them on the waterslides at the parks, but can you hang on to them as you're going down the slides? There's no way my husband would be able to walk up the stairs without the shoes on, so I'm wondering what he would do with them on the way down.

Yes you can wear them. the only time they ask for u to take them off is on BODY slides, not tube slides. And even then, they dont always ask.

I read somewhere that for safety reasons, they don't allow them on the slides. Supposedly they can get caught, thus causing you to tumble forward. That's just what I read, don't know if it's fact.
