Does anyone know if watersocks are allowed on the rides at the Disney waterparks?

We have always worn water socks on all of the water park rides. I wouldn't go without them. The concrete will eat your feet up. I don't think they would let you have flip flops.

I've worn water shoes on the rides at both WP (but not the giant slides--I'm too chicken for those) and never had to remove them. IMO foot covering of some sort is a must at either. And now I'm daydreaming about BB again...gee thanks! ;)

Some of the large slides they do make you take water socks off, just before you go. They just ask you to hang on to them as you cross your chest before taking the big plunge. I agree with the former post, you must wear something on your feet there. The cement there becomes so hot it will burn your feet.

Thank you for the replies! I'm happy to hear that I can wear my water socks without removing them before each ride. I probably won't attempt the big slides this trip. It has been several years since I've been to the water parks. I'm looking forward to it! :)

LOL! Sorry about that!;) Talk about torture.. my aunt and uncle are meeting us at WDW prior to hoping on the DCL transatlantic cruise. DH couldn't take those two weeks off, so we had to cancel. But....WDW is the next best thing! :thumbsup2
