EasyWDW has the crowd level at 9 on the day we are thinking of going to TL.

How busy would the water park be at the end of March? Get there at opening type of crowd or not?

We have only been there in off season (October, January/February) when it was very quiet.

Yes that's why its rated a 9 on EasyWDW - it's spring break time.
I'm assuming it's very weather dependent.

I'd definitely get there at opening. You can get so much done before it gets crowded. You can do most of the slides with hardly any wait, then save the wave pool/lazy rivers (things without a line) for when the crowds pick up. We've gone on July 4th before and it was not as bad as we thought it would be, but by 10:30 or 11:00 it was already starting to get crazy.

The middle to end of March is very crowded with local spring breakers as well as out of towners.
If you are going to go I would definitely get there at either opening or possibly after 2 PM when the crowds might start leaving.
We have water park after 2 annual passes and most times when we are arriving, many people are leaving. :)
