I was lucky to get a room at the Inn for Veteran's Day weekend.
The only room available is a waterview room and the price isn't too bad with the Florida resident discount. I'm not sure where the waterview room will be though. We have stayed at the Boardwalk many times, usually on the villa side or in a garden view room. We love the garden view rooms!
Last weekend, the first room we got was unbelievably far away from the elevators! I had read on here about some rooms being too far away but I never know just how far away a room could be. The room was TOO far away. It was an Epcot view, sort of. We ended up with the garden view which is lovely.
If the waterview room has a view of the quiet pool, it seems like the room will be far from the elevators and lobby (and the Belle Vue Room!). I am just drawing a blank on the possible locations of waterview rooms and how to get to them.
Another dilemma: We also have ressies at The Swan for that weekend. Got a good rate with the Teacher's discount. I was actually looking forward to giving the Swan a try but now that we got the Boardwalk I am very torn between where to stay. I booked a higher priced room at the Swan (not sure I should have done that) so the room at the Boardwalk is about $35 more per night. I could get the regular room at the Swan and the savings would be about $90 per night.
I am so undecided!
Any advise?
Thanks!
