Does anyone know if you have to take your water shoes off at Volcano Bay? Thanks!

I believe it depends on the ride/slide. I know that some of the ones with rafts you can wear shoes, I had on Chaco's and they said they were fine (which really surprised me).

I never been to VB, but I would imagine any body water slides you would definitely have to remove your water shoes for.

On our August trip, we saw people asked to remove water shoes when they tapped in to Ohyah and Ohno, and we saw people with footwear on Krakatau Aqua Coaster, and the lifeguards were definitely fine with it. Some kids wore water shoes on slides in the water play areas. If you have to remove water shoes on Ohyah and Ohno, I would imagine you can't wear them on any of the "drop door" body slides. But it might also be inconsistent, in terms of what team members enforce.

FallsChurchDad is right. You cannot wear them on any of the drop door slides. Not sure about the other but I did see people with them on in the raft slides and on Krakatau as well.

I wore swim shoes and was glad I did. There's places to leave your shoes outside of the lines for slides that don't allow them, and we had no trouble leaving ours there and easily finding them after we enjoyed the slide.
