I was just thinking about our trip for the week after Thanksgiving and was wondering if it would be warm enough to do rides like Kali River Rapids and Splash Mountain. I have never been at this time of year and dont know if it will be too cold :cold: or not. Thanks for any information you can pass my way!! :mickeybar :flower: :mickeybar

The weather can go either way---all I can say is be prepared for anything. We've encountered waking up to 40 degrees to waking up to 65 degrees and it getting as high as 80-85 in the afternoon. We always end up packing so much more when we travel in off-season because of the unreliability of the weather :flower: In early Dec '98, we spent 2 full days at Blizzard Beach (as Typhoon Lagoon was closed for rehab) & it was in the low 80's both those days.

I second what michelle said. It's usually warm here that time of year, but there could be cold days. Just check the weather forecast and plan the water rides for a warm day. If there does happen to be a cold day it will warm up the following day or the day after that.

You could always bring a change of clothes along too. We're going that same time this year, and even if its 40 degrees, DD,DH & I are going on Splash Mountain. Now for Kali, I don't really mind missing that. I also wanted to point out that in 2000 DH & I were there that time, and everyone said how unseasonably cold it was...we were in jeans and sweatshirts a lot. But, we still managed to do those rides as well.
