Water Parks

Hey everybody

I am going to WDW in August, and I have never been to either one of the water parks. We would like to go this time, but we only want to go to one of them. Which one is better if I am traveling with a thirteen year old and a seventeen year old, and possibly friends who also have teenagers?

I personally LOVE TL but since you are going with teenagers I think you should go to BB! BB has more thrills but TL does have that new water "coaster" which looks very fun. I think you kids will enjoy summit plummit at BB. I say go to BB!!

It really is a tough choice....I love Typhoon Lagoon. It's much shadier and relaxed and the wave pool is awesome! Oh, and they have the shark reef swim too. Also, the three new Crush-n-Gusher slides will be open at Typhoon Lagoon by time you go.

The flip side is that Blizzard Beach is supposed to be more fun for the younger crowd. More slides and I guess a little more thrill.

I say pick whichever sounds more interesting to you. I think if the teenagers haven't been to either before, they'll love whichever you pick. They are great water parks. I was a teenager the first couple times I went to Typhoon Lagoon, and I just loved going around the "lazy river" and trying to pick up guys!

Unless your teenagers are fearless enough to go on summit plummit then go to Typhoon Lagoon.

Summit Plummit at Blizzard Beach is excellent but quite scary and it really hurts your bum! (bottom).

So if they are not up for that then go to Thyphoon Lagoon, It has a more relaxed feel with a good selection of rides plus it has the newest slide opening this month.
