I know if you go right at opening, the lines are great. We are thinking of going in the afternoon, which we have never done. If we go in Summer after 3pm should the crowds be leaving at that point? The park closes at 7pm the day we are looking at and it will be a Saturday.

People who go early seem to stat heading out by 3-5 so crowds may be less, though Saturday's do get worse overall. Summer crowds are bigger and weather makes a difference. In summer, it rains most afternoons, if there is lightning, they get everyone out of the water, if just rain, it really clears out but you can still be in the water. While in the summer it rarely cools down, many people make decisions to go/not go on the day of to see what the weather is like, so crowds are hard to predict for the water parks.

Probably won't see a big drop off in crowds until after 4-5 unless there are storms that day...

We usually go at opening and stay until noon or 1:00 on the weekends...as we leave tons of people are showing up. It gets much busier in the afternoons with people who go to the parks in the morning.

We switched some of the schedule around so we could go first thing in the morning, which we have always had luck with. To nervous to try after noon. Thanks!
