Where is Typhoon Lagoon, how much is parking and is it the best water park.

when you say where is it I guess saying its within the Disney World gate sover near Downtown disney, does that answer it? you can find a good map on the front page of the DIS, also parking is the same cost as every other park but you can park for free at DTD and get a bus (I think, I'm not sure as I never drive there)
I think its the best park because I like the tropical theming but depending when you go it may not be open, Blizzard beach is the other disney water park and its different but also really good. Typhoon has a better lazy river, big wave pool and the swim with the sharks thing though but blizzard has abetter family raft ride

Well, I can't really answer the first two since for us, TL is always at the end of a bus ride (or two)!!! But it's definitely a great park to do. I'm torn between TL and BB, because I love rides, but my sister and mum aren't always too keen on them, so TL is a great middle ground for everyone.

We shall be visiting BB at least once, but there will most likely be more trips to TL, especially given it's location and the fact we don't drive. We are spending our final day at TL. We're doing early check-in at DTD, then hopping across the road to TL, then heading back to DTD for big meal at Planet Hollywood (I'm not surviving an 8-hour flight on JUST a box of Disney cookies this time!), then catching the transfer from DTD to the airport.

It is definitely a great park, and is the water park that best caters to everyone's taste. I agree with carolfoy that the lazy river is better at TL. BB looks the same the whole way around and you have no idea where you! We all love the giant wave; it's awesome. Most of the time at water parks, my mum and sister sit on sunbeds while I go ride all the rides; TL I couldn't keep them out the water, and all because of that wave!

And, I actually got them to ride all the rides, so that was definitely a bonus! Although after last year, my mum has renamed Crush'n'Gusher "the bum burner" because she kept getting attacked by the jets of water that power the rafts uphill - they are painful when they hit you rather than the raft!

Hi Kaz65,

Typhoon Lagoon is really good and has something for everyone but have you had a look at the new Seaworld water park - Aquatica? This one looks the business   but will not be up and running for while. Check out this link - www.aquaticabyseaworld.com

It is free to park at Disney water parks, no charge for both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.

Split opinion on which is best, have a slight preference for Blizzard Beach - to be honest Josh prefers the pool at a villa!
