Water parks, the very first weekend in March? Utilizing ticket one day early?

I have a one night room only reservation booked at AoA on March 3rd and then a package deal booked at POR for March 4th-7th, with a three day base ticket and an extra bonus feature ticket. So I was thinking after we get checked in at AoA, eat lunch, hopefully get our room and such, that we head over to a water park for maybe three hours to just have a brief amount of fun there.

But I was wanting to double check, because I think I can go ahead and utilize that water park ticket one day before my package deal actually starts on the March 4th, right?

Also, anyone have any experience on the temps that early in March? Will probably go after 1:00.

I'm confused about what kind of tickets you have, so I'm not sure if you can access it early or not. I know you can access you 3-day base ticket, but that won't get you into the water parks. What is the bonus feature ticket you have?

You can activate your package tickets as soon as you reach WDW.

There are ticket booths at the waterparks where you can activate your ticket 1 day early.

They are tickets purchased with a package through a TA. They are convention tickets. Not real sure about what temps will be like then, but don't really want to waste the bonus feature.

Are your tickets active right now? If you go to the FP area of MDE, is a 30-day booking window open?

If so, you can use your ticket at the waterpark without having to activate it as it may already be an active convention ticket.

No, they are not, I go in March.

Just checking because they are Convention tickets.

If they aren't opening a FP window now for today and forward, you'll have to activate them when you reach the waterpark. I think activating applies to Convention tickets; @Robo can provide more exact info.
