Water parks, hopping, mini-golf question

Hi guys, I tried searching older posts, but I couldn't really find as clear an answer as I'd like, so I hope I'm not repeating a common question.

For our trip in May, we've bought 7-day MYW tickets, with park hopper and the water parks and more option. We plan to do both water parks and the mini-golf courses. I know this means we have theme park tickets for 7 days, and as I understand it, 7 admissions to the other attractions included in the water parks and more. I know we can do a theme park and a water park on the same day, but can we use two "WPM" in the same day, for instance go to Blizzard Beach and Winter Sommerland? I know non-park-hoppers can't spend two day tickets to go to two different parks, I'm wondering if the WPM work the same way?

Also, what happens if you want to do both waterparks on the same day? I seem to remember reading something about water park hopping, but I couldn't find it again.

Thanks for the help!

Great, so it is not like theme park tickets, you can use more than one in the same day if you want. I can't wait!
Thanks for the quick reply!

Just to be sure you know - there is no park ticket of any kind required to play mini-golf. Anyone can play mini-golf, no matter what kind of Disney ticket they have, or whether you're staying onsite or off site. Feel free to play mini-golf whenever and as many times as you want.

OK, now I'm confused... Looking at the Disney pages for the WPM, it says "For each visit you can choose one of the following", and then lists the water parks, the mini golf, etc. I thought, since I have 7 days MYW, with the WPM, that meant I have 7 admissions to those activities, for instance 4 times at a water park, 3 times at the mini golf, all included in the WPM option I paid for with my ticket. Is that right?

Oh, or, do you mean I don't need a theme park ticket to get to the mini golf? I knew that much, I just wanted to make sure I could use many of the WPM admissions in a single day :)

Thanks again, though, appreciate everything on these boards!

You can use your WP&M ticket to pay for mini golf; or you can pay cash. The PP made it sound like mini-golf is free, and it's not. $14 for the first round, according to all ears net; half price for a 2nd round in the same visit.

Thanks for clarifying, IRONZ. I thought that the OP was wondering if a park admission ticket was somehow required to play mini-golf. I didn't mean to imply that it was free - only that anyone can access it whether they have a ticket or not.

If you are "paying" for mini-golf with a WPF&M admission, just be aware that is only good before 4pm. After that it's payment only.

We were there last week, and they've changed the second round discount. It's now only 25% off, but you can use it at any mini golf course that same day or the next day. BTW, Winter Summerland sand course was closed for refurb.

Thanks everyone for the help. I didn't expect anything to be free at WDW :D As I already bought (and paid for) my package, and it includes WPM, I wanted to understand how the admissions to the water parks and mini-golf worked. I'm now a little bit more confused than I was to begin with, though, with mentions of discounts on the second round. If I go to the mini-golf with my WPM admission, what does it include, exactly?

My understanding: I have 7 days MYW+WPM, that means 7 admissions to waterparks or mini golf. Winter summerland has two 18-holes, if I read Disney correctly. Does one WPM admission only cover one of the 18-holes at Winter Summerland, or can I do both for one admission? Let's say I go to Bilzzard Beach, that's one WPM admission. At 2PM, we decide to head over to the Mini-golf, that's a second WPM admission. Do I need to use up a third admission to play a second round of mini-golf on the second course?

If you don't mind I'll use this thread to ask my question. We have 7 day park hopper with water park and more tickets. We're coming down a day early to give us an extra day should weather affect our travel. Can we use our tickets to play mini golf that first extra day then still go to parks the next 7 days? So we'd be doing activities for 8 days with our 7 day park tickets. Or do we have to use water park/mini golf tickets on the same 7 days we go to parks?

Maybe the best way to ask is...does using a water park/mini golf ticket count as a park day if you don't go to one of the four parks that day?

Thanks!

According to our late Ticket Guru, Cheshire Figment, in his "Everything About WDW Tickets," he last wrote in 2013 that "Fantasia Gardens and Winter-SummerLand Miniature Golf can also be used once per day at each location, but it must be done prior to 4:00pm."

That would mean one round only at a each mini-golf venue per day. But check with the mini-golf people to see if that rule is still in place. If you have a Disney Package, you may receive vouchers for at least a few of you to get a round of mini golf play.

You have 14 days (from first use) to use all your ticket assets. Whether you begin using your ticket with a water park option, or a park visit, that first use starts the 14 day clock.

You actually have two things going on with your tickets -- 1. Park Visits, and 2. Water Park options. They are used and deducted from separate "banks." If you have 7 park days, you are given 7 water park option admissions. Only your 7 park day tickets count towards park visits. The Park Hopper options lets you visit more than one park in one day. A Disney day can be very long, if a park such as MK stays open 'til the wee hours. You could start your day at other parks, and even after midnight, enter MK with your PH ticket, because it's still the same (Disney) day at MK as when you entered your other parks earlier.

You can use water park assets on separate days or on the same day as a park visit. You could also use 2 water park options on the same day, such as water park and mini golf. It's mix-and-match, and very flexible. Two water parks in one day uses 2 water park options. There's no hopping with water park assets.
