My daughter will be one next summer. At what age do you think she could go to the water parks? We are starting swim lessons at 7 months. I know each of Disney's water parks has an area for young kids - how young is too young though?
Great question! We're taking our grown kids who are bringing a1 & a 2 year old. We're planning on going to Typhoon Lagoon. It has more shaded areas and that was the deciding factor for us.
We took my DS last year at 10 months and he loved the play areas at BB and TL. I don't think we would have bothered if we didn't have my older son. It wouldn't be worth it for just a toddler.
Last year we took our kids and did only water parks. Our 15 month old LOVED the kiddie areas but also really loved the lazy rivers. Also, we took him the water near the zip line at typhoon lagoon. We stayed away from the wave pool but had a great time for 7 days.

We took them on the lazy river in both parks and that was about it at that age. They are a bit older now (5 & 3) so we let them tell us what they are up for riding.
For my 1yr old last year we preferred the Blizzard Beach little kid area more. BB has a padded play area while the Typhoon Lagoon was hard concrete and she fell a lot

We took dd10 for her first birthday and spent a day at BB. She loved splashing around in the water. She did go in the lazy river and wave pool but nothing else. We swapped out who stayed with her and ds3.5 while the others did the slides.
