WATER PARKS ºoº Can a 15 month old baby enjoy the water parks?

Hi! dh and dd love water parks! ds is only 15 months old ~ can he enjoy some of the things at Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon?

I am particularly interested in the slow tube rides! THX

Definitely! I did TL and BB with my then 8 month old daughter and we had a blast. I put her on my chest and we floated around the lazy river for quite a while. A word of caution though...at BB there is one point in the lazy river ride when you float through a "cave" with a waterfall. Well, the waterfall is icy water and was very startling to the baby (and me as well!). I usually had my husband push us through the waterfall really fast, and that seemed ok. At both water parks there is a small area just for little ones that should be perfect for you. There was even a section of water that was only about 3 or 4 inches deep which resembled a tide pool, and that water was really warm, almost like bathwater. I just brought a couple of sand toys and let her sit and play.

One of the CM's told me it was ok to bring her on the family raft ride, he said it was no big deal. Let me tell you, I was haning on to her and the side of the raft for dear life! I wouldn't recommend that, much too wild for the little ones.

We've been bringing our daughter since she was 2 and she could do eveything is the "kid" section at that age. This year we will go in August and our son will be 13 mos. I plan to go to both water parks and bring buckets and toys and just sit him in the water. Most water is only a couple inches deep. MAybe he can ride down with my daughter (now 6) and I will definately bring him on the lazr river with me. I think he will love it!~
