Water Park ??

Is the new ride at Typhoon Lagoon supposed to open in March? I thought I read somewhere that it was to open March 15th -- has anyone else heard this? My daughter was looking at the Disney magazine and saw the ride and asked, "Was that there when we went? Will it be open when we go?" So now I am trying to figure out if it will be open and if so I might just have to add a water park day after out cruise. Thanks
