Water Park Tickets, is it a hassle to buy at the gate?

We are not sure if we will go to a water park on our trip. We are going to get the 5 day park hoppers and seem how we feel about the water park once we are there.

I wouldn't but regular park tickets at the gate, I know it's a pain (as well as more costly) but what about water park tickets? Is it (relatively) easy to buy those at the gate, or is it worth it to get them ahead of time?

I wonder if you have any intention of doing some other non-park things? If so, what about the park hopper plus? That way you'd save money on those other options and if you choose NOT to do the water park, you can still use the pluses for other things.

I believe you can buy them there at your resort. (thought I saw your're staying on site)

We bought water park tickets last year at AKL at the concierge desk and the admission was 'put' on our room keys (coded into the computer)

It's very easy to purchase admission at the water parks.

There's an automated kiosk that sells them. I don't know if it's at Blizzard or Typhoon or both.

But it shouldn't be a problem!

you are able to purchase admission to the water parks at any of the resorts guest services counter...we purchased them last july while at WL....

Don't go to a water park at opening to buy a ticket from a window - the lines are outrageous! I think we had to wait about 45 minutes the one time we did this in the blazing heat and we got there early! I haven't been since the new kiosks have started to be utilized, but I imagine that may take away some of the lines.

If you can in fact buy them at your resort, by all means do so, so you can just walk in when you get there.
