Water park on departure day?

Hello everyone! I'm planning our next trip for early June, and we want to do the water parks this year (we skipped them last year.) I scheduled Blizzard Beach for one day. I was wondering if anyone could give an opinion as to the feasability of doing Typhoon Lagoon on our departure day.

It's just me and my GF. We plan to check out early at Pop Century and stow our bags, then head to TL with a change of clothes. TL opens at 9:00, so we stay til 1:00, change our clothes at TL, head back to Pop Century, organize our luggage, catch our towncar at 2:30, and arrive at 3:00 at MCO for our flight at 4:30. We will be relying on Disney transportation, which is why I chose TL-- closer to Pop Century.

Does this sound feasible or am I cutting it too close? :)

One of the unknowns about each day at a water park is the weather. If there is lightning in the sky or adverse weather conditions in the area, the park may be vacated and you're asked to wait or come back. That happened twice to us on a previous trip and it really screwed up our day.
My suggestion is to do the WP on days you are fairly sure the weather won't be a roadblock.
Then the last day, pick your favorite park, schedule a nice lunch at one of the restaurants, walk around, shop for last minute items and give yourself alot of time to get to where you need to be.

WDW on June 24:wave: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

We've done the waterparks and left by 1pm (when opening was at 10am). It always seems like we are leaving too soon. But, I wouldn't not go just because of that.
