Water Park Bus Service for Summer 2026

FYI, similar to last summer, Disney has a few tweaks to the normal water park bus service with both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach now open for the summer.

On dates when Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is open:

• Guests at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter can enjoy convenient more direct bus transportation to and from Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. When you arrive, please be sure to check the transportation signage at your Resort for the most up‑to‑date details, including pick‑up locations and operating hours.
• From any Disney Resort hotel, take the bus to the Disney Springs area and then transfer onto the bus for Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park.
• Bus service from Disney Springs to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park begins approximately 30 minutes prior to the water park opening.
• Bus service from Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park to Disney Springs ends approximately 60 minutes after the water park closing.

On dates when Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is open:

• Guests at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney's Pop Century Resort can enjoy convenient more direct bus transportation to and from Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park. When you arrive, please be sure to check the transportation signage at your Resort for the most up‑to‑date details, including pick‑up locations and operating hours.
• For Guests staying at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and Disney’s All-Star Resort hotels, direct bus transportation is available to and from Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park.
• From all other Disney Resort hotels, take the bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park and then transfer onto the bus for Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park.
• Bus service from Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park to Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park begins approximately 30 minutes prior to water park opening.

Why does the first group for BB say "more" direct?

This actually sounds more organized than the older setup, especially for guests staying at resorts with direct service. Having both water parks open at the same time will likely make transportation busier, so knowing the transfer locations in advance is helpful. The extra hour of return service after closing is also a nice convenience.

Why does the first group for BB say "more" direct?

I need someone with direct experience to confirm this, but I 'think' those resorts all shared a bus last year when they did this - so maybe that's what they mean. Or could just be sloppy website wording - it's not Disney's strongest attribute sometimes.
