I have searched and just can't find any info on this. Is there an AP Discount if you buy a Water Park Annual (obviously we have the standard APs)? :confused3

The current AP benefits include a discount on a single-day water park pass and I am trying to decide where the "break even" point is for getting the water park annual. Odds are we would only use it 3 or 4 times in the next year.

Thanks for any help,

Or it might be cheaper in the long run to get PAP's. I think the PAP's are around $100 more than the AP's. We got PAP's b/c we go to DQ multiple times on each trip and like to go to the both waterparks at least once each trip.

I thought about the PAP - but there are complications! DH & I already have our AP's (purchased last November on a grown-up only weekend) and I am still deciding if I should get an AP or not for DS5. In 2005 we will be at WDW for 10 days (7 in April and 3 in October around a DCL cruise). IF we make our spring trip before April 20th next year, the it makes sense to get DS an AP, otherwise a 10day MYW makes more sense (hopper, no expire, plus). Our current plan is to go to water parks 2 times in April and possibly 1 time in October (depending on the weather then - could be too cool). A water park annual is cheaper than the upcharge to PAP from our regular APs.

It is very unlikely we will go to DQ at this time since DS is still too short to do some of the things there and I am fairly sure DH will HATE it. (I have only been once which was before it was even officially open, but it is NOT the type of place DH is likely to enjoy.) When DS gets tall enough to do everything at DQ, he'll probably talk DH into going!

Thanks for the thought!

The AP discount does not extend to the water park annual pass (nor to any other annual pass). Currently, it sells for $106.45.

With your AP discount a water park single day is $31.95. If you are only planning on going three times, you'd save about $10 by purchasing separate admissions over the WP AP.

Thanks GoldenOldie - I sort of suspected there wouldn't be, but was still hoping a little! Oh well, now I just have to guess if we will be there before April 20th next year or not... Aargh - these new ticket options have made this much harder to decide :)
