I saw in a picture on one of the other boards someone had a long lanyard type thing that attached to the top of a water bottle, and they wore it over their shoulder/across the body so the water bottle was at the hip.

Anyone know where I could find such an item? I always need my water bottle with me!!

:goodvibes We bought ours at MK (at a little drink cart near the Statue, on Main St.). I also bought one at AK... because it was a really cool AK themed pattern/colors (it was at a snack area)! I think they cost about $3.00 each. They were quite durable... DS & DH used theirs the entire trip and they are still perfect (we packed them away in our "Disney Tubs" for use this year). I bought mine but didn't use it as I use an ECV and just place my water in the basket.

THANK YOU! I will have to look for them when we arrive in 9 days!!!

I bought one a trip ago on a solo trip. I got it in Epcot at a drink cart. My only complaint is that the strap is really long and bumps and bumps against my leg. Maybe those taller than 5'2" don't have that problem.

I bought one at Epcot and my mother loved it so much, she borrowed it and never returned it. :rotfl2: I had to buy myself a new one on my next trip down. I still use it. Its great & easy way to bring a bottle of water along virtually anywhere. And I have to agree with the previous poster, the strap can seem long at times--and I'm 5'7".

I'll take a picture (with a snazzy bottle of H2O) and post it when I get home from the baseball game tonight. Go Tigers!

i have one from each park and DTD, but my favorite is the AK lanyard!

Sorry about not posting until this morning, but after a rain delay :umbrella: of over an hour, we didn't leave the ball park until well after 11pm. Here is my lanyard:

The one my mother "borrowed" was from Epcot and has world showcase flags.

To shorten the strap tie a few figure-8s in it. Works like a charm.

I now use my strap for my old Pal Mickey (yes, around his neck ;) ) It is more secure and convenient than the clip.

I put a knot in the top around the neck to shorten mine up

DH and I love ours, this will be our third year using one. In fact we are going to buy a second one this year so we can both have fun. I agree they are a bit long for me I'm only 5'1 but DH is 6'2 so its super short for him. I just knot it when I wear it!! Definitely get one, its worth the money!!:goodvibes
