Water at resorts

Does anyone take a Brita pitcher or similar to the resorts to have cold filtered water from the tap in your room? We have to buy a new pitcher anyway and I'm just curious if anyone has found one that fits well in the mini fridge?

We went to Orlando every year from 2005 to 2009, and the quality of the water was always a talking point. It was HORRIBLE! Smelly and tasted like sulfur. My fiance were just down at Disney this past February though, and the water was completely different. I don't know what they did, but it tasted clean and fresh and didn't give us any problems whatsoever!

I take two of the individual Brita bottles that have filters. I also take them when I go on a cruise.

We've never had an issue with water at Disney at the parks or resorts. That said we still get a case from Garden Grocer.

They sell bottled water at the resort gift shops $6.39 for 24.

- Well, if one lives in Midland MI? The water in the Resorts can be a treat . You would THINK, that coming from the Great Lakes, we would have stunning water . ummmmm - no .

I suppose all of this depends on where one's home is .

I have traveled with another person who brings a Brita pitcher. It works very well.

I always buy my water for my room at my resort gift shop. If I want water when I'm in the parks, I buy it there. Easy peasy!

I've seen a bunch of folks post here and on FB about bringing a Brita (or similar) pitcher to WDW. Just note that the water you get out of the tap will not be "cold". In FL, the "cold" water from the tap is more like cool water.

We use a Brita pitcher in our DVC room. Works like a charm.

we took the sports size Brita bottles and were glad we did. we have well water and the chemical taste of water even from drinking fountains was horrible for us...
