Water/aquatic shoes that AREN'T crocs?

I can remember in a thread a while ago (could have been as much as a few months back) there was a thread on shoes for the park and someone mentioned shoes which were suitable for watersports/wet rides but also as a good land shoe. I looked them up at the time and they did all styles- from sandal to sports shoe and colours (really nice ones too) and I *think* they were leather/suede type materials.

What were they? Can anyone remember or suggest some names they might have been?

We get one that looks like a sneaker. We spend a lot of time on the beach and boating in the summer. We get them from Lands End. They are a bit more expensive then your average water sock but so worth it as they really hold up. They also have a great flip flop that conforms more to the shape of your foot. If you can't find it on line or don't have a catalog they carry Lands End at Sears.

Are you thinking of Keen Shoes. They are pricey, but in my opinion well worth the money. They are a soft suede/leather, and are completely waterproof. My kids love them. Oh, and they are washable and look brand new after they have been washed.

They are pricey - about $90 around here. But I found a sale at Dicks for a LIME GREEN pair - and they are $70 on sale and I have a $10 coupon.

Yes- thank you!! It was Keens- I knew it was something with an eeee in it somewhere LOL I shall take a look, we do alot of walking (no car) so price doesn't bother me too much for a good pair of shoes.

We all have TEVAs for that purpose. They are awesome and hold up forever!
