I am using Ride Max for our spring break visit in March. I need to modify one of the steps. My question is: can we use a FP for Roger Rabbit at about 9:00 if the fireworks start at 9:30? Some of you awesome DISers warned me that Fantasyland is closed during the fireworks. I think RRCT is in Toontown though?

Next, if we are able to use our FP's for Roger Rabbit at 9pm, where would a good fireworks viewing spot be in the area once we get off the ride?

Thanks:)

Toontown always closes early for fireworks; you can only use a FP for Roger Rabbit (maybe) if the park doesn't offer fireworks that night. And I haven't been on a late night without fireworks to confirm that. They have to clear the whole area for safety reasons prior to the start of fireworks.

But there is good fireworks viewing at It's a Small World. Not as impressive as by the hub, but less crowded.

For fireworks, Toontown, and the park of Fantasyland inside the Castle walls( not every FL attraction) close about 1 hours before the fireworks. The FL attractions that close usually reopen about 30 minutes after the fireworks end. Toontown rarely reopens.

Be aware, rumor has it starting Mar. 7th, you will need to return during the FP windows and not just later in the day.

Are you referring to the recent report about this happening in Walt Disney World, or did you see something more recently about it happening in Disneyland?

Rumor is Disneyland CMs started "retraining" on this this past week and all US parks will "adapt" on the 7th. Disneyland CMs were supposedly told this is not a new policy, but simply renewed training on the existing policy.

I've seen official word about this regarding WDW. This spawned rumors about DLR but nothing official that I've seen.

One of our favorite alternative spots for fireworks is in front of It's a Small World, not far from the Toontown area.

I understand. I trust my source, but I know we need official words. This is just my opinion, but I think one reason we won't see "official" news of this until it actually happens is they don't want to deal with the backlash now, they would rather just deal with it when it actually happens.
