Hi, we are of to orlando for the first time, and would like to watch the disney parade from a resturant with a good view from the balcony, can anyone reccomned anywhere, and how to get a good seat?. there are 5 of us, 3 kids. Also where to get the best deals on disney tickets. Thanks very much.:cool1:

I am moving this to the Dining Board, but I can't think of any restaurants with a balcony where you can watch the parade. The best I can think of is the porch of Tony's Town Square. Maybe the experts there can help you out.

Oh, and you should probably ask your tickets question on a separate thread on the Budget Board. :)

There are four parks at Walt Disney World, three of which have parades. Assuming you are talking about the Magic Kingdom parade, no table service restaurants with balconies are on the parade route. Tony's Town Square has or had an outdoor patio with tables that might have a view of the parade. Many restaurants with a view of an event at WDW do not guarantee seating within the area that has an event view - I would not know about Tony's specifically.

you could try watching from the counter service restaurants Casey's Corner (hot dogs) or Pecos Bill's (hamburgers) but there are no restaurants along the route with balconies. I believe that Cinderella's Castle, Pinochio's and Columbia Harbor House are the only ones with 2nd floors but they do not have outdoor balconies or overlook the parade route
