Watch out Dumbo, There's a bigger Circus coming to Town...Triplets take on the World

I have missed so much!!! I have had A ROUGH WEEK!!! I am STRESSING out!!! I need my disney fix. Things are a little up in the air right now, hoping it will not affect our trip.... So I am so glad that I got a moment to come on here and see all your updates!!! I still like the box o surprises idea :goodvibes I am bummed that the dessert party is turning out like this! I REALLY want to go, and I KNOW that I will not be able to call every day to book it when it opens! Why can't they just get it together!!!! :rolleyes2 I'm so excited for y'all and your meets! Sounds like a blast, no matter who is in front!!! And I think 40 will be fine! Expecially since you run around like a 25 yo anyways!!! I would collapse in a coma if I was as busy as you!!! http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3245476 This is the disneyland thread I was talking about....hope it works
Ya know I noticed you were gone! Figured something was up. I wouldn't stress too much about the dessert party anyway. We went at a busier time last year and it didn't sale out for 3-4 weeks. I'm sure me or Mo will mention when it finally does come available and you'll see! Hope everything falls into place for you soon!! I'll keep y'all in my thoughts & prayers!

Awwwww, thanks

Don't worry Raina gets over excited about things....our plans will all work out I am sure.......I will make it happen one way or another.....

Hey Mo! Thanks for the pics with D and Josh! And the drink didn't look bad at all. I'm sure it went down pretty well, right???

You asked about parking way back in the lot. Yes, they have shuttles that take you to the gate. Just make sure you make note of where you parked…it can get confusing after a long day in the park! As far as getting to your early ADR, the bus would get you there just fine. It's never failed us. We have never rented a car or taken a taxi anywhere and we've never been late. Oh, yeah, there was one time there was some sort of mix up and an Epcot bus never came, so the guy who stands at the bus stop with the clip board took us in a van over to Epcot so we could make our lunch ADR at Le Cellier. But that was an extreme case and they made it right.

I also like senario 3. You don't want to be cooking all that stuff the day you're leaving!! I think it should be Disney all the way. If you need Dan to call the munchkins, he does a really good Mickey Mouse!

I do hope you get the dessert party settled soon. I hate that it's sort of spoiling your enthusiasm for it. Just hang in there. I'm sure it will happen eventually for you, Terri and Raina!

Have a wonderful day with the family!

Didn't happen.. :( I was going to do it too...

Alright lets get this past weekend in perspective!

SO Saturday i didn't have to work at Job #2 which meant. I ran through the house cleaning!!! It was passable.
about 2:00 i ran over to the library. I hadn't heard if anyone was going to be there so i ran there. I had D texting me to make sure i knew about the time she would be at the house.. i had time...
so i had thought.
Saturday is the BIG St. Pats parade and party downtown, like the color the Chicago river green. Mardi gras has nothing on Chicago during St. Patricks weekend. :smokin:
So I figured she would be stuck in 1.) Ohare traffic 2) downtown traffic.
So i had ample time.. Then she text saying she was already on the skyway! :scared1:
I GOTTA GO! So the kids and i left usually take me about 10 minutes to get home from the library.. There is a stinking TRAIN! this is NOT in my plans.. OK i turn around and now have to go about 15 minutes out of my way to get home. We are now going about 80.. around bridges and finally hit my neighborhood again going about 50 down sidestreets.
FINALLY we are in front of the house!! D and Josh are still in the:

PRETTY COOL EH?? I thought so..
My kids are SO EXCITED too meet D and Josh i run over give HUGE HUGS! It was So awesome to see her...
Get into the house where she is greeted by Logan Lex and Piper. who wouldn't even let them all the way into the house! the dogs were ecstatic! COMPANY!!! :dogdance:
The kids RUN upstairs to grab stevie.

the rest of the night was just us gibber gabbering!
I did try to make one of those drinks on Pintrest.. The snow white looks pretty and easy to make.

Pretty right?
This was ours:

I did make some yummies

then we just relaxed and really enjoyed each others company.
Look how adorable they are!

about 5 minutes after this picture we all went to bed!!!
the next morning i Had Matt wake me up so i could have a cup of coffee with them before they went on their merry way!
Thankfully Chicago was behaving with the weather they got off with a great start.
It was a wonderful visit. Short yet it was great to see them again.

We were able to plan how we will fit everyone in on the EPIC DIS MEET Part 2!!!!

Next? a DISNEY UPDATE!
well it was good... Hopefully the Dis meet drinks will come out better?!?:confused3

Hahaha... I cannot believe you grabbed a photo of me sneaking in some of that cream cheese nummy-ness/naughty-ness. :rolleyes1 LOL Guilty as charged, but it was soooo good! I even went back for a second piece, but I restrained myself and made Josh eat it.

The drinks were fantastic! They didn't look pretty, but they tasted wonderful! :lovestruc

I enjoyed every moment at your house Mo... I truly did. I loved being greeted by big puppies the minute I walked through the door - that Lex, I just adore him! I really do... All of your other dogs are great too - but Lex... He is a lover for sure! :wizard:

And the Midgets... Awww... Gotta love them too - they are all so cute. Josh and I loved how they all sleep in one bed - how sweet is that?

I miss you all bunches and cannot wait to come back. :lovestruc I am so very lucky to have the bestest friends in the world.

On a side note... When Josh and I were driving, I was marveling at how many friends I have around the country... If we would have made this trip 5 years ago, it would have been us driving across the country surrounded by strangers and the unknown... but here we were - driving across the country, and meeting up with friends the whole way. :woohoo: It was truly the coolest experience, knowing that if something happened - I always have a friend nearby. ::yes::

D~

Don't worry Raina gets over excited about things....our plans will all work out I am sure.......I will make it happen one way or another.....

What a good mamma you are! It's hard not to stress but its so nice when you have someone like you to remind them it will all be ok and work out!!!

I do hope you get the dessert party settled soon. I hate that it's sort of spoiling your enthusiasm for it. Just hang in there. I'm sure it will happen eventually for you, Terri and Raina!

I'm claiming it now, it will all work out!! We will get those ADR's eventually! Especially with ALL of us on the lookout!! ;)

I LOVE all three scenarios. Personally, I don't think I could ever do the drive to Florida again (well, not until we have to because we are moving there) and I would choose the flying option with that surprise.

Flights just went up.. I would have been at 1390 Now it's at 1655...
Dang it.
There are so many pros and cons to driving. I am so up in the air right now.. know that it went up i really have no clue...

Turning 40? Truthfully, I hated it with a passion (didn't help that my kids and husband put 40 dinosaurs on my front lawn and my kids told me I was extinct!). But I'd take 40 over 56 any day. So just enjoy the day and celebrate all the good things in your life.

That's a riot.. I have known Flamingo's on the lawn and Gnomes too Not Dinosaurs!!! i'm not looking forward to 40...

Replies later gotta pick up Zack from school..

I see that Lois answered your question about the shuttles in the parking lots. :thumbsup2 I totally missed you asking that question.

I am horrible with ideas for scavenger hunts and that kind of stuff but I'm sure that some of the more creative people on here will be able to help. ::yes:: I know that however you do tell the kids they are going to be sooooo excited! I would love to be surprised with a trip to Disney. Well I think I would but I do wonder if I would just be worried if all of the planning was correctly. :rotfl: I guess that's the control freak coming out in me.

I turned 40 last August and honestly I have to remind myself about that fact quite often. Because I don't feel 40, my mind just doesn't compute the fact! :rotfl2: For some reason age has always just been a number to me and I don't stress over it.

Honestly, 40 was a piece of cake - I'm like Ariana - my age is just a number and I don't feel as old as my number. I think back to my grandmother at this age and she WAS old. I have a hard time computing my age with how I feel. I'm not slowing down much at all and have no intention of doing so anytime soon.

I love the idea of 40 dinosaurs on the front lawn. I've never seen that, though I have seen the flamingos.

Have a great day Mo!

Oh I love the pin board!! I had seen that but just didn't remember it! Looks like a shadowbox, right??

Bahahaha! I'm sorry but that is soooo funny! I would like to steal that idea to do to someone!

It is pretty funny..

Mo I love all the ideas but I'd opt for flying and surprising them early in the morning :) But all are awesome! Box full of goodies will be totally fun!

Yes.. Flying is the most convenient. Yet i kinda would like to see the different states too.. I just don't know..

Ok this is my favorite! NowI have to watch Aladdin again.........lol

#3 was your favorite??? i like them all.. i just don't KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!
Too many idea floating around in my head..

For some reason I really like #3 too (unless you fly of course).

:thumbsup2 thanks! but how to make the movie!!!

Love that Meg wanted to show your Disney home videos when D and Josh stayed over. How sweet! This will be the best birthday ever!

ohh Boy. anyone who comes over and has any kind of like to Disney she will force you to watch them.. over and over.. she love her Disney and wants to share it!!!

OMG....so MEAN!!!! but soooooooo HILARIOUS!! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

it really is....

I have missed so much!!! I have had A ROUGH WEEK!!! I am STRESSING out!!! I need my disney fix. Things are a little up in the air right now, hoping it will not affect our trip....

Things will work out.. They ALWAYS do..
Stress sucks and i totally understand. this trip was in jeopardy a couple of times already. I will not allow it!

So I am so glad that I got a moment to come on here and see all your updates!!! I still like the box o surprises idea :goodvibes

I am glad you came!!! miss ya around here!!!

I am bummed that the dessert party is turning out like this! I REALLY want to go, and I KNOW that I will not be able to call every day to book it when it opens! Why can't they just get it together!!!! :rolleyes2

it's killing me. still isn't open for Sept.

I'm so excited for y'all and your meets! Sounds like a blast, no matter who is in front!!! And I think 40 will be fine! Expecially since you run around like a 25 yo anyways!!! I would collapse in a coma if I was as busy as you!!!

the meet is going to be a blast! i cannot wait for these girls to get here!
i do run around like a nut.. i have no other choice!!!

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3245476 This is the disneyland thread I was talking about....hope it works

THANK YOU!!! this wont happen for a while but i would like to go one day

awwwwwwwww... see! it WILL work out!!! :cheer2: :grouphug:

Hey Mo! Thanks for the pics with D and Josh! And the drink didn't look bad at all. I'm sure it went down pretty well, right???

Of course it did! :rotfl: Fun drinks are always well... FUN! they are adorbale aren't they???

You asked about parking way back in the lot. Yes, they have shuttles that take you to the gate.

thank goodness!

Just make sure you make note of where you parked…it can get confusing after a long day in the park!

umm you know me well I WILL LOSE MY CAR!!! :rotfl2: i always take a picture of where i park.. just in case my almost 40 mind wanders..

As far as getting to your early ADR, the bus would get you there just fine. It's never failed us. We have never rented a car or taken a taxi anywhere and we've never been late.

i am still sketchy on this.. i just don't know and really do not want to chance this!

Oh, yeah, there was one time there was some sort of mix up and an Epcot bus never came, so the guy who stands at the bus stop with the clip board took us in a van over to Epcot so we could make our lunch ADR at Le Cellier. But that was an extreme case and they made it right.

see this makes me nervous.. I know Disney will always do the best they can do. yet i dont' want to leave it to luck.. then it's squashed!

I also like senario 3. You don't want to be cooking all that stuff the day you're leaving!! I think it should be Disney all the way. If you need Dan to call the munchkins, he does a really good Mickey Mouse!

your right i am not up for all the cooking BUT it will make the time go by a bit quicker with all the cooking. then eating, then cleaning. BAM it's time!!! i will NEED something to keep me busy all that time!!!

I do hope you get the dessert party settled soon. I hate that it's sort of spoiling your enthusiasm for it. Just hang in there. I'm sure it will happen eventually for you, Terri and Raina!
Have a wonderful day with the family!

it's just horrible how this is being handled...

Hahaha... I cannot believe you grabbed a photo of me sneaking in some of that cream cheese nummy-ness/naughty-ness. :rolleyes1 LOL Guilty as charged, but it was soooo good! I even went back for a second piece, but I restrained myself and made Josh eat it.

:thumbsup2 It really is that much better the next day.. you will know because i plan on making it again!!!

The drinks were fantastic! They didn't look pretty, but they tasted wonderful! :lovestruc

no.. not pretty AT ALL.. i hope the next ones will look a lot better!!! yummmmm

I enjoyed every moment at your house Mo... I truly did. I loved being greeted by big puppies the minute I walked through the door - that Lex, I just adore him! I really do... All of your other dogs are great too - but Lex... He is a lover for sure! :wizard:

oh good i am always so worried if people feel comfortable in our home..
Lex.. the squirrel. :sad2: that dog needs manners.. stop sitting ON PEOPLE...

And the Midgets... Awww... Gotta love them too - they are all so cute. Josh and I loved how they all sleep in one bed - how sweet is that?

sure when she is about 12 its not going to be cute anymore. but she still will not sleep in her room. they have to be together. always. that is about the ONLY trait they have of being triplets.
I just love them so much.

I miss you all bunches and cannot wait to come back. :lovestruc I am so very lucky to have the bestest friends in the world.

cannot wait to have you back! this is going to be AH-MAZ-ING!

::yes::
D~

:thumbsup2 That is pretty cool... your WAY more popular then i am..
I love the peeps that i have become great friends with here..

What a good mamma you are! It's hard not to stress but its so nice when you have someone like you to remind them it will all be ok and work out!!!

you are so right!

I'm claiming it now, it will all work out!! We will get those ADR's eventually! Especially with ALL of us on the lookout!! ;)

See! I agree with Terri..

I see that Lois answered your question about the shuttles in the parking lots. :thumbsup2 I totally missed you asking that question.
:lmao:

slacker...

I am horrible with ideas for scavenger hunts and that kind of stuff but I'm sure that some of the more creative people on here will be able to help. ::yes::

so am I.. i wish Oopsi would help on this.. She is the most AMAZING creative person with this.. may just have to message her.. :scratchin

I know that however you do tell the kids they are going to be sooooo excited! I would love to be surprised with a trip to Disney. Well I think I would but I do wonder if I would just be worried if all of the planning was correctly. :rotfl: I guess that's the control freak coming out in me.

I know right?!?! I would love to have someone wake me up saying hey.. Get up.. we are going to Disney..
YES then i would HOPE the planning is correct.. ask A THOUSAND questions then call Disney to make sure it's all done..

I turned 40 last August and honestly I have to remind myself about that fact quite often. Because I don't feel 40, my mind just doesn't compute the fact! :rotfl2: For some reason age has always just been a number to me and I don't stress over it.

no i have a very immature mind.. but i have a very OLD body... :rotfl2: i feel it in my knees and everything else..

Honestly, 40 was a piece of cake - I'm like Ariana - my age is just a number and I don't feel as old as my number. I think back to my grandmother at this age and she WAS old. I have a hard time computing my age with how I feel. I'm not slowing down much at all and have no intention of doing so anytime soon.

i don't like 40... i don't even like the number 4.. :lmao: Nope not slowing down at all!!!!

I love the idea of 40 dinosaurs on the front lawn. I've never seen that, though I have seen the flamingos.
Have a great day Mo!

Don't get any ideas.. :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

40... i can't believe it.

Oh I love the pin board!! I had seen that but just didn't remember it! Looks like a shadowbox, right??

Yes! it's the best ever!!! I just love them!!! Suzi is a DOLL!!!

Did i tell you anything about this weekend? geesh i am going to have to do that now!!!

Trust me...I got even with my husband when he turned 50. He had 50 elephants and I told him his skin looked like elephant skin. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Now THAT'S hilarious!! Way to go!

Mo, I do a sort of scavenger hunt with the kids that they love. You write clues on white paper with a white crayon where one clue leads them to the next clue. They have to use watercolor paint and water to make the words appear. It takes just a slight amount of paint, mostly water. I send them all over the house and then they get a treasure at the end. They take turns being the one to "paint" the clue, but Selah is the only who can read the clue, so it's pretty funny to watch.

As for turning 40, let me see if I can remember back that far….hmmm. Okay, got the image. It is distant, but faintly there.:lmao: I have never felt "grown up" in the sense of my parents being grown up. I've never really felt my age, except after a day here caring for all four kids and my daughter and her household. Then, I drag myself to my room and go to bed at 9:30!!! :rotfl: If you are in good health, age is truly just a number!:goodvibes (like if you don't smoke. Ahem:rolleyes1)

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Yes i have to say this is the best come back EVER!!!!

i am in bed by 8:30.. my night owl days are O-V-E-R and i am OK with this!!! :lmao:
30 didn't bother me. I was also pregnant. nothing ever bothered me.. 40? i am just shocked this is happening.. and i don't like it.
I also am not a fan of my kids turning 10 this year either.. can i hit PAUSE on life??!

So on to the lines of my kids turning 10 as i said above i don't like it.. Not one bit. I wish there was a pause and rewind button..
Since there isn't, i have to make the best of life and every moment of my children childhood. to me? That's Disney!!! I want to give my kids the world as they are young and appreciate it all.. There are so many downs on becoming an adult. too many worries, stress, responsibilities. To escape this Let's go to DISNEY! :hyper: they get their fun and love of Disney and we get to escape the everyday crap that's thrown at us!!! :thumbsup2

why isn't it Sept???

What a crazy week. Yeah i know your all shocked.. this time it worked on me.

I worked SO MUCH! 16 hour days are hard. especially back to back to back.

But i loved it.

Friday was my annual Pub crawl.
One of the stops:
From Left:
Sunny-Les (my BFF)-Ken-Tom-and Troy
and all of us:
I have no idea where we are at this point..

After the tour i had the WORST HEADACHE ever!!! we stopped for food and off to HOME. my head still felt as if someone was drilling into my skull. when we made it home i took aspirin fell fast asleep.
Nope was not drunk. I was over tired. i slept until 10am! :scared1: which is something i NEVER do!!! My body had had it and was done. I felt WONDERFUL when i woke up!!!
I had my call in to work and thankfully i was not needed.. BECAUSE!
we had a surprise 40th B-Day for a friend of ours. :crazy2: thankfully it was very low key. we stayed until 9:30 again fell on my face.
Sunday. i had to work..
after work I promised the kids a trip to the theater to see Muppets Most Wanted!!:cheer2:
I was in need of spending quality time with them.. I missed them so much from the week of working nonstop.

Walter HAD to go and see his movie!!!

we enjoyed it despite the reviews. we are huge Muppet Fans!!!

Afterwards we drove around downtown then finally started the way home.
Zack had a bit of a bad belly yet figured it was about the butter on the popcorn:confused3
that night he did get sick. Still believe it was the greasy popcorn..

Monday he said his belly was still yucky. I told him IF he felt bad in school to CALL ME. i wouldn't be mad. just call i will come and get him..
:thumbsup2
at 8:30 i wasn't getting a call! i was wondering if he wasn't going to call
I know they had only been in school for a half hour...
FINALLY at 9am i got the call Zack threw up.. Danm i didn't want him to actually BE sick.
I was elated to get out of work.
Came home got into our jammies and hung out on the couch watching What??? DISNEY MOVIES OF COURSE! is there any other kind?
Zack was fine all day. picked up the other midgets and did the same thing. stayed in PJ's and watched Disney movies...
It felt WONDERFUL just to hang out, relax and enjoy.
So much so. I called off on Tuesday to do a Me day
ya know... ME PARTY
I was able to catch up on everything!!! while catching up on some of the shows i watch.. like Once upon a time?!? blacklist? the following? there are some really awesome shows on..
Then i had to my errands. Bank- Verizon (my phone is acting wonky) - then the eye doc.
Verizon they couldn't fix my phone. Had to order a new one thankfully it would be delivered overnight. Yet i look over and have a poster about tablets on sale. I inquire. i am a nerd. especially when it comes to technology.
After everything was said and done i walked out of the store with a still not working phone and a brand new Samsung 7' tablet for the price of...

wait for it.........................................

Can you guess???

Your never going to guess

$15.00

I know right!!!! I was AMAZED! I have absolutely NO need for a tablet. Figured it will be perfect for the kids and our Drive/flight in Sept! SO I GOT IT!
Tom is going over to the store tomorrow to see if he can get one too.. then i only need ONE MORE! :cheer2:

off to the eye doc.. I LOVE my eye doc. i have a VERY HARD time keeping control of my laughter when he is milliliters away from my face. a VERY hard time..
then 40 hit me again. I need stronger glasses. damn you 40!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was UNAWARE nerd glasses are the way of life now?!?! I picked the less of the nerdy boxy glasses... yet they are still nerdy and boxy.. Doc's wife picked them out for me called them 'fun and funky' ummmm ok.. :smokin:

when i got home found out Matt was sick.. he has pink eye. but now a fever. gave him some aspirin he fell asleep work up and was fine.

Yesterday i came back to work to find the place crazy. i totally forgot about the new copiers came.. :crazy2:
Nothing works.. as usual. i fix everything but one.. It never pinged. so it's offline. :badpc: fine.
Then find out they screwed up weren't supposed to change out the ones they did,... :badpc: have to fix it all again today... :sad2:
waiting on a co worker to come and help.

Back to yesterday I guess the school called and i never got the call because my phone is still not working properly. But my mom went and picked him up.. another fever. when i got home he was fine again.. :confused3
made him shower in a cooler shower and again watched movies..
I had the worst taste for taco bell.. yeah.. I have NO IDEA where that came from. but that is what we had.
Today i am happy to report all is well. everyone is back to normal and i am about to fix copiers/ networks and my binders for the kids.. :thumbsup2

hope you all have a magical day prayers are always with you :flower3:all!!!!

Your posts always leave me feeling a little frazzled and I didn't even live them! :rotfl: I'm not sure we can still call your weeks crazy, I think they are just typical now. ::yes::

I had to do the whole eye doctor thing this week too. I wear contacts 90% of the time but my glasses were 5 or 6 years old and in desperate need of replacement. I pretty much beelined to a pair similar to the ones that I currently have but the sales lady kept trying to sell me a pair of the nerd ones you are talking about. I did try on a few but kept flashing back to 2nd grade and getting teased for needing glasses. Of course I ended up with the first pair I put on despite all her attempts!

Hope everyone continues to be heathly the rest of this week!

*WHEW* I am always WORN OUT after your posts! :rotfl:

Okay soooo

Pub crawl looks SO FUN! My hubs would LOVE that!

Movie= Cuteness!! We saw it a few days ago as well, and the songs are too funny! Maddie actually sat through the ENTIRE thing! YaY!! We can see kids movies as a family again! Woot! I love that you had a seat for the stuffies, lol!

Boo on Zack throwing up, but at least it didnt last all day! Olivia is currently camped out on the couch next to her trash can... she started feeling sick yesterday morning and has been throwing up ever since, twice this morning already, poor thing.

Work: Boo! It's always something, huh!! You need a raise! At all your jobs! ;)

And thats kinda funny about the glasses, welcome to the club, at least you made it to 40 before needing them!! I've always lacked the ability to SEE! LoL! :rotfl2:

Your post is as entertaining to read as ever, I look forward to them so much to see what kind of shenanigans you will be getting into! :lmao:

Busy week! I hope your kiddos start feeling better!

Pink eye is the worst. DS is very susceptible to it, he has caught it at least 4 times. Any time a classmate has it, he will get it. We dread it all the more because the antibiotic drops that they give him for his eye sting. :(

Sorry to hear the kiddos are sick. Reminds me of the year my oldest, Kate, was in 2nd grade - she came down with everything that year - pink eye, strep, which turned into scarlet fever, flu, and chicken pox which then turned into pneumonia. The moms went into the classroom and cleaned all the desks with Clorox after the chicken pox went through the room. She also passed the chicken pox on to her two little brothers! That was loads of fun....

One of the ladies at work has a mug that says "I'd rather be 40 than pregnant" - so just keep that in mind....:cool1::lmao::flower3:
