I am so glad the video is finished, but I was just thinking that I would be amazed if one of your kids turned to you as they are watching it and said, "Geez, Mom, couldn't you get the music synced up a little better?" They will love it and never really understand all the hours and love you poured into that video. The things we do for our kids.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING!

few things first. I have to tell you the passing of Robin Williams really hit me. I just feel such sorrow, a childhood friend also committed suicide on this past Sunday night. we had lost track until Facebook. we weren't close but we knew each other. and kept up with each other on facebook. She was a ROCK STAR in arena football newly married to her wife. I thought she was happy. Last year her nephew took his life as well.
The shock. the sorrow i feel for these families. To have such troubles in your mind and heart to take your own life really hit me hard. For them not to be able to reach out to someone just breaks my heart. i cannot even imagine.
I called several family/friends just to say hi. i have been hugging my children to the point they are starting to run from me..... So please just take a moment to go hug your kids, family, friends. you never know what is going on in someone's head.

On Saturday i told you the MB's came in a plain ol brown box NOTHING Disney written on it ANYWHERE!!! the return address did say florida.. That's it..
Until you open the box.. POOF Incredible outpouring of Disney!!!

Sorry about the cigarettes as you can see the i'm going to quit before Disney isn't happening... i still have my electronic cigarette which i will be bringing with me. I hope some Disney magic will kick me in the tookus and i quit.

If i somehow screw these up in some unimaginable way, I still have another fabulous, fun filled box with 5 more... the only color we DON'T have is yellow.

I LOVE the dots Suzi did, just simple and easy peasy. D~ is also doing some really awesome dots.. but more extravagant then i can do.

DVC Cover bands are back on-line i went ahead and ordered the Haunted mansion and Jack Skellington.. had to. it was a must....

this is really confusing. I went on... Made my choices saved them went on my merry way... Yesterday i wanted Tom to see what i "ordered" for everyone....
it was all gone. I did it AGAIN had Tom pick out the food told him to save it as i was walking out the door with the kids..
figured i would look at it today make any changes i needed....

Logging on the the lunch site... it only has our reservation no food...
NO idea what is going on.
I look on the MDE and it isn't there?!?! when i look on the link there isn't a confirmation number? How does this work?!?
Please help me...

next on the list? packing.. or trying to. I was going to start yesterday of course i couldn't because kids kept being well.. My kids. comedians that they are just had to keep coming in with whatever hysterical comments at that moment. when i 'try' to yell at them telling them i need to get stuff done i get the boys oHHH gurl you can get all DAT done? naaaaa gurl you need us! then they start some fashion show with my clothes. when Meg is in peals of laughter. lets just say it didn't happen. again.


Other stuff:
Tuesday i had to run out of here because we all forgot about their dentist appointment. Ran out of here picked them up and flew out to Indiana. made it ON TIME! I rock.
They have perfect teeth. Meg may need braces. No cavities and Matt still wants to be a Dentist when he grows up! Their Dentist is the best Dentist on the planet.

Yesterday my alarm did NOT go off so i stayed home. NOT happy about that as i am trying to save all my time for next month... We all had hair appointments boys are buzzed again. Meg wants shoulder length hair! NO!!! Not yet at least...
I am my ever loving red. One more cut before we go. appointments are DONE!

Last year was the first year the boys played football for their school we have been with the bulldogs for about 4 years. it was so nice to be a few blocks from home with practice/home games. No ticket sales. I went to a game and sat watched Meg cheer and the boys kick butt! Sit back relax and enjoy the kids.
well this year they have been practicing with their team, and waiting for more kids to sign up... it never happened. the team needed 18 players. They had 11. No J.V. team for the school this year. It's just SO SAD why aren't these parents getting their kids UP AND MOVING?!?
Off we went to join back up with our beloved Bulldogs. Yes i love the team- the people- everything. BUT it means more work. selling tickets- working concessions- team photographer.. no rest for the wicked. so it's bittersweet. Back out to the field EVERY DAY... lets not forget the basketball nonsense. I really hope a friend of mine will step up and just take the team.
Their first practice was last night. Meg fell back into the swing without any issues. knew the cheers and went on rocking. the boys...
had to be weighed in. This is different then the Catholic sports. JV consists of 4-6 grades. If your over weight then your a stripper. you still play you just can't run the ball. NO BIG DEAL... in this league it's by weight. can't be over 100 pounds for pee wee which i believe is the 9-10 year olds Zack weighed in at 94 pounds. Matt weighed in at 104. the kid is SOLID! for him to be able to play he needs to lose 5 pounds. Yes i have to put my 9 year old on a diet.
he has about 2 weeks to do it. ya know RIGHT BEFORE WE LEAVE!!!!
irritating to no end...

No one was injured. thankfully.

Wow, wow, wow. I had no idea grade 4-6 football had such weight rules. With him being young and male, it will probably be easier than you think to have him lose that 5 pounds, but it certainly doesn't feel good to have your 9 year old worry about weight.

Love the dog. We don't have one, but we always tend to gravitate toward the big, crazy dogs.

Did you finish the Epic dismeet report? Did I miss it? I hope I didn't miss the ending.

Quitting is sooo hard, but worth it and easier as time passes. I know you have probably heard the same thing from anyone who has ever quit smoking, but encouragement helps. I am at 631 days and counting!!!!

I am really loving this PTR thing. I wish I would have found yours earlier!!! it is a blast to read. And I wish I would have done one. I will next time.

I am so sorry about your friend, Mo. I still find myself getting weepy over Robin. Such a great talent, such a warm human being (I saw a story where he promised he would visit with a Make A Wish kid who ended up not being able to make the trip so he hired a private plane and flew to her; she died two months later). And I get really irate at all the negative things I see and the things posted on his daughter's Twitter account. Why must people be so mean? We wathced Aladdin again last night and I just balled my eyes out at the end.

Yay for the Magic Bands. We just keep ours boring...no designs for us.

Oh yes...the weight for football. I remember those days all too well.

Nope we have it for the 8th at 11ish i think, I printed out the page stating i have the ressie i plan on bringing it with me. Then have everyone pick out their food there. I don't trust the site...

I try to stay away from the negative. I read a couple then had to stop. Robin was an amazing man. he brought joy and laughter to so many. Did you ever see the "who's Line is it" episode? If not you MUST search for it.
People who are saying the cruel and mean things should look in the mirror. this is not helping the situation of anyone who has depression..

I hope you'll be able to quit smoking. My mom quit in May after having a stroke at 53. She smoked for over 30 years and said when she was in the hospital that she wasn't going to smoke again. As far as I know, other than the e-cigarette, she hasn't. I was the kid who always begged my mom to quit smoking and when Peyton started asking her to, I told her not to bother, I'd been trying for years and I hadn't made a dent. For you and your kids sake, I hope you'll be able to quit without a medical emergency making the decision for you.

All that being said, sorry to be preachy. Obviously, with my mom's situation, I feel passionately about it but I know it's easier said than done. I'll say some prayers for you and not beat you up about it again. I hope you get that it's coming from a good place.

Ok, Lex and the wood floor. Are your bedrooms upstairs? If not, how do you stand the sound of Great Dane nails on the floor? We put wood floors in the living room in October - never realized how restless Cooper was at night until then.

How does Matt feel about the diet/weight issue? Hope you both are doing well with it!

YAY! You got your magic bands! I didn't see if you were planning on customizing them or not...so, are ya?

My younger brother played Pee-Wee football and they were militant on the weight issue. But, I remember there were boys on the team who were like 65 lbs up to over 100... Such a wide variety, but it IS football after all.

Best of luck quitting smoking! My dad quit about 10 years ago. I hassled him about it constantly as a teenager, so it was a real relief when he did. Be sure to treat yourself when you do!!

I'm glad to see you got your magic bands. Go ahead and give decorating them a shot. I don't think you can ruin them or anything. Ours should be coming any day now. I hope tomorrow. I'm just going to put some sparkly nail polish on mine and maybe a few crystals. Dan won't let me touch his though. haha He'll wear the shirts I make, but he draws the line there.

I'm so glad you got lunch at BOG. I'm still trying. I'm at 27 days today, so hopefully I'll get lucky. If not, we'll just wait in line as always. No big deal.

I HATE the weight thing for football. At that age what the heck does it matter???? It just seems to me that the emphasis on weight is potentially harmful and totally unnecessary!! Okay, off my soapbox. I know you don't like it either. But it's true, 5 pounds for a boy is easy peasy.

I am very sad about Robin Wiliams too... Such and amazing, amazing talent. He will be greatly missed by many.

I am very sorry to hear about your friend. Suicide is a horrible thing... And a scary thing - I agree... Hug your kids, your neighbors, your friends - you never know who needs you.

Love my swashbuckling Lex! I think it's ridiculous that Matt has to lose weight to play football, but he shouldn't have any problem doing it.
