Did you hear the news! Frozen Summer Celebration has been extended! Just when I had my itinerary set, this morning I have been moving things around to go, just waiting on SIL to say yes to premium package, I even reduced the price for her as a birthday present to $30 ( since the plan was drinks around the world, for $30 she will be getting so much more) and a parade (she loves them) who cares if it's a short parade, she'll get a reserved spot and I will get to do the Frozen stuff!

What i don't understand is... The WHOLE frozen thing is another hard ticket?!
The parade sing along and everything? I haven't looked into this much.
I know the frozen days are not any of our HS days?!?!

haahahahahahaha, my boss comes back on Monday and I am SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!! He's been out for a month during which time I was "the boss" (really just all of the responsibility with none of the perks )

Oh. I love when both are gone. makes my life so much easier. unfortunately they are both back today...

So i am hiding in my office. maybe they won't notice me.... I have things to do ya know....

Can the kids trading pins be mixed together or do they need them separated? In other words, do you need one thing to carry them to the parks or 3? What do you keep the trading pins in at home/in the room?

I'm going to try to answer this as best as i understand!

Right now the new pins are put away in the same mailing box they came in i need to go to the Dollar store to see if they have Disney boxes of some sort. Then i will divide them into three's. otherwise they will fight over them. each will have a small box with the new ones i just bought.

Carry in the park- they have their own lanyards they will put the pins they want to trade for that day. then at night they will put the one that want back into the box i bought them...

When they get home they will add their pins they love to the Boards Suzi made for them last year which are proudly hanging on the wall...

I finally understand the pin dilemma! I have an idea - they have small plain cardboard boxes at Michaels or even the chinese take out style gift boxes. You could get those and some Disney stickers and let the kids decorate them on the trip down - assuming your kids can do that kind of stuff in the car without getting car sick.

We carry our extra traders into the park in a small zippered pouch - similar size and shape wise to D~'s wallets.

From what I understand, the Frozen stuff has been extended through September (every day). The Frozen fireworks is only on the weekends. You do not need a hard ticket item, unless you want the preferred viewing of the processional, sing-a-long show and fireworks. The fireworks has a dessert type party with special Frozen themed desserts (which are available most places for purchase). You do get some extra treats at the processional (not really a parade). The Oaken trading post is open to everyone. Chelsea wants to do the 30 minutes of ice skating for $10. We will have to see on that. If you want to go to the sing a long show, you head there first thing and get a return ticket with a time on it (sort of like the new Be Our Guest lunch procedure). We plan to look around Oakens and see the sing a long and the fireworks, but I am not buying the tickets.

As for the pins, I save containers throughout the year. Such as I have a French's fried onion container and a couple of Frosting containers. I only save the ones that the labels can be removed and then we can decorate. We were going to store our pins in those this year.

mine was... Well... crazy!!!

Friday was my normal crazy day but i DID FINISH the movie!!! I have to figure out how i got it on you tube...
Then dog training. left there early since i don't have a 8:00 class until Late Sept! When i got home changed and ran up to the kids school for their fest! Met my sister and niece there.. which of course ends up with: : we had a great time.

Saturday. I was 'on call' for job #2 so at 1 when they told me i can have a nice day Tom handed me my drink because we had a BLOCK PARTY!
I was so happy i didn't have to work.
This was the FIRST block party on our block! and i can't wait for the next year! we had a bounce house- DJ (which i could leave out) and get this.....
a mechanical BULL!!! Seriously a Mechanical BULL!!! How cool is that?!?

No I did NOT get on the bull - some of you have seen the video's I put up on Facebook.

We had several friends stop in and eat it was a great time!!!

then it was time to hike it over back to the fest. Like we don't volunteer enough of our time if you don't put like 8 hours of time on the books they will put it on your tuition. whatever... My Sister and Niece met me there again we were in and out of 'helping' the beer tent of course... and had another great night!!! I did have to go home earlier then Friday.. I had to work Job #2 on Sunday.
It was a loooooooooooong day But TON'S OF FUN!!!!! as we were sitting outside Tom BBQ-ing the mailman came by.... GUESS WHAT CAME?!?!?

OUR MAGIC BANDS! I was over the moon excited!!!!
THANKFULLY the bands come in a really boring brown box. out name on it and return address is something in florida. NO Disney found ANYWHERE on the box!!!! Today (maybe) when the second set arrives the kids will not know anything!!!! I am SO happy!!!!
I will say i am shocked the bands are a lot smaller then i had thought they were!! with all the pictures i see they look So much wider! i am going to have a heck of a time painting on them... eh well. I will do what i can i am just ECSTATIC they came! that means the trip is closer and closer!

Sunday:
went to job #2 had my review and found out i am a model employee...
I get my I'm a great employee raise in January... My city Job should take a lesson in how things should work!!!
came home figured we would have a lazy movie night. So we watch Alice in wonderland (cartoon Disney) which still boggles my mind..

Then we watched Beauty and the beast.... well i believe Alice and the trippy movie got to Matt This is what i posted on Facebook in case you missed it:


This.... This is Matt.. who decided to take off his shirt. walking away. States very proudly he's too sexy for his shirt..
when asked when the last time they cleaned their ears decides to clean his belly button. Then chases his brother to tell him.. Here.. smell!!!
Then struts into the front room singing his milk shake brings all the gals to the yard.
While twerking.




This was just the start.. afterwards it just turned into a laugh fest. this kids CRACK ME UP!!! we have such a great time together!!! Just love them!!!

Today is my catch up with all of you on the dis. then Dog training.. Hopefully they will pay me.

What a fun weekend you had Ms. Great Employee! When I was a kid, our whole neighborhood was full of kids my age and we got together pretty often. Now, the neighborhood kids have grown up and moved away and their parents are still here. Not exactly block party people any more, I guess.

Finally back in my 20's! i loved my twenties. I was going to start packing yesterday. But ya know how that goes and had kids all over the place again.
