There's a Great America in San Jose, California that was about 15 minutes from my house growing up. It looks like the layout of the parks might be similar, at least the Sky Trek thing and where it is in relation to the double decker carousel.

My turkey leg was from one humongous turkey - it was okay, but I could not finish it.

The small roller coaster we went on was about my speed

Hahahahaha.......oh the Batman ride joke girl.....yeah. I don't remember ANY of the jokes at the moment. But I do remember you knew ALL the answers to the riddles. She was like "oh, have you heard that one?" And you were like "nope. It is just that bad that I can guess!" Bahahaha....

So much fun there. We really shouldn't hold them to Disney standards....but hey, they are SIX FLAGS, they are not new at this. It should have been better costumes, cleaner parks, better CM jokes.....

First of all, reading these updates makes me cry... Seriously, these girls have become like sisters to me, miss them so much, kindred spirits for sure... Don't know how I am going to wait a whole year to see them? Makes me so sad just thinking about it. Love the three of you to death!

That turkey drummy was huge, but quite honestly, I could have eaten Tess' too... I was so happy to find food I could eat. What about that guy who took our picture? Can't remember what that was aboot?

Yah, the two of you have more balls than I'll ever have... Huge coasters scare the crap out of me... Besides, Tess and I really enjoyed our people watching... Saw a nice VB bag that would make a great non-Disney theme park touring bag... Still might get it... After I pay off our trip. Then we worked on our tans a little bit too.

Loved all of our sunglasses... And that hat picture kills me... Mo, you soooo needed that martian hat, it fits your personality perfectly. I am nearly hyperventilating here with laughter thinking about when you put it on. Gosh darn it... I love ya!

That little coaster was so fun... I could have been a bit bigger though. For the record, I kept my hands up the whole ride. Rebel.

And that carousel... It was so fun! Never been on a double decker one before. And yuck... Serious muffin top I had there... Yuck, yuck, yuck. Makes me remember that I still have a lot of work to do.

And, I was very happy to stand on the ground and watch you guys go up, up, up.... Seriously, I looked up at you guys when you were rotating at the top and THAT made me dizzy. I would have barfed all the way up there! But as I was taking the chicken exit, some guy was teasing me for not doing the "granny ride"... Pfft... That's a scary ride!

Thanks for the update... It totally made my night.

I am loving your photos of Six Flags. We have a Great America (not Six Flags) in California that I went to all the time growing up. The entrance to your park looks exactly the same. The moment you walk in there is the huge pool of water with the double decker at the end. I loved the double decker. There is no way I would go up in that sky thing. My parents made me once and I screamed the entire time. I am sure the other people on it were thankful to finally be back on the ground and be rid of me.

There were WAY too many school groups there. Well one of them had a scavenger hunt.. one of the things they needed was someone eating a turkey leg.. Hence D.. Now she will go down in history in some school as the lady eating a turkey leg!

LOVED the updates on the EPIC DIS meet! I have never seen a double decker carousel either. It looks pretty cool. You guys all looked like you were having a blast!! I just love amusement parks of all kinds. Nothing beats Disney, but the lesser ones are lots of fun too for between Disney trips.

Oh my gosh, I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything when I saw that hat picture!! That was the most fun!!!! And the sunglasses were so cute. I totally would have bought a pair…if I could see without my glasses that is!

Sorry i have been MIA but work is well... work.. lots and lots of it.

But i am taking a minute to try to get an update done!!!

I left off while we were on that crazy high ride!!!​

Water we ever had. seriously i don't know what they did with it but honestly the water was divine. i wish i could tell you what we all had. But i can't there are no pictures so apparent'y it didn't happen right?

As we were walking out back to the car. i noticed something different about the back of my car. took me a moment to notice someone had STOLEN MY TOW HITCH!!! the whole dang thing!!! I was furious!!!!
there was nothing to do so we headed home.




On our way home we were hitting some U.G.L.Y. traffic. Like any Chicagoian Ya take detours:

Yay! An update! Bummer on the tow hitch!! Someone stole my Mickey Bar antenna topper the other day and I was so sad Maybe Ill buy several this time so when they get jacked I can have backups, or maybe I should rubber cement them on!?!? Jacka$$es....

I thought that June would be a (slightly) less busy month for me and I would be able to catch up around here. Sadly, that has not been true.....although, we have been doing LOTS of fun stuff to make up for all the work I have been doing!!!

I love the dismeet TR so far!!!! I LOVE roller coasters too!!!! We just got our season passes back for Busch Gardens and took the girls last week. Audrey went on her very first roller coaster!!! (she wasn't thrilled.......) Y'all seemed to have had such a great time!!! Hopefully I will be able to keep up with it this time!
