Hi everyone! My name is Nicole and I am Mo's friend from Chicago.
She doesn't post a darn thing during the trip report i did...

About time you show up. These are some of the BEST people around.
We visited Disney together in November 2011 and personally I feel we had a great time
Yep this is
them
Wanna a picture?? here!

that's all of us. lil Matt is hiding behind my big head...
I am a Disney Addict! My DH is Joe and we have two son's, Joey who is 8 and Matthew who is 5. We just returned from our 6th trip to Disney.
AND BOUGHT ME A SURPRISE!!!
We did a lot of stuff this past trip that we have never done before like trying a Dole Whip (and yes, I am now addicted)! LOL! We also went on rides we had never taken the time to try like Spaceship Earth. Some new restaurants we tried were Libery Tree Tavern (LOVED IT), Stitch's Breakfast at O'Hana and Whispering Canyon. I think we are definitely done with Chef Mickey's, though. Just not enough to keep us wanting to go back. Thinking Cape May next time.
We usually go to Disney every other year but we did get a bounceback offer that I would like to explore. I never say never to Disney!! If we do go back in 2014, we will probably go September 14-19. Nice to meet all of you
why the 14-19???
Hi Twitchy. How's the eye??

it finally went away after a very hard sleep!!! now i have a TERRIBLE headache.. i need a vacation. The kind where you wake up WHENEVER, go to a spa. maybe swim then do a lot of nothing..

just for a weekend.
I really hope things aren't closed for you. That is one of the hardest things to come to grips with. When we went in Feb, Thunder Mountain was closed....Kali River Rapids....No Main Street Elec Parade...and a whole bunch of other things. I know you pay less in the low crowd times, but it is still ALOT of money to spend on a vacation. They really should time things so that they refurb the big rides seperately. I just sucks. Fingers crossed for you.
Thanks Suzi! so far so good with the closures. we have 2 NEW experiences! a new parade and the new mine train!!!
And I really think you will be fine at the Poly. They probably won't have all the construction done by then, probably the villas will still be worked on. But they should have the GCH done and that is the important part, I would think.
I agree it's 11 months that i think Disney will get their construction together.. I don't think they can or would leave a main hall under that much construction?!?

we will be fine.. I am sure.
Now where's that Jen???

I found her...
Prayers and pixie dust for Kathy and her family.
It is so frustrating when things are closed for the duration of your trip or when they have that horrible crane in front of the castle. When we go in a few weeks Peter Pan and the railroad will be closed. Bummer. My kids are upset because the Honey I shrunk the kids playground will be closed too. I have to admit I will not miss that one but feel bad for the kids. By the time we go back my DS will be too old for it.
We never did the Honey i shrunk the kids.. Only because i didn't want to spend hours there where i could be at a really cool show or riding the rides! i do LOVE the peter pan ride. think it is SO well made!!! So i am SO sorry they will be closed for you!
The mine train will be so cool and the new parade will be very welcome but 3 months with no parade is a long time. Hopefully nothing major will be closed in Sept.
i hope so too. I want Jen and family to have a great time to be able to see everything!!!!
Hi Nicole. Glad you got to try a few new things on your latest trip. The bounce back sounds like a good excuse to plan a trip.
She'll talk Joe into it in no time..
Glad to make you laugh!
Mo, you are simply amazing...thank you so very much. Love ya!
all i did was type a few words to some great people here.
My brother has serious heart issues. They did a cardiovision on him today. Basically what they did is stop his heart; he was clinically dead for a minute or two. Then they shocked his heart to get it started again. His heartbeat is now normal. He is on a toxic medicine (could cause liver, thyroid or lung issues) to strengthen his heart muscles. The doctor feels this is the best medicine for him right now but will try to keep him on it for just a couple of months before switching to a new medication. As of now, this means he does not need a heart transplant which will be his last option (and he is a very unlikely candidate). The doctor feels confident that this is going to be a big help for him.
glad to hear the good.. but on the liver/ lung issues not so good. Thyroid? They can remove that and medicate for life.. I have been battling thyroid for 13 years.
Thank you for all the prayers. The DIS is the best.
Hello everyone. Jen here finally. I am so excited to be going to Disney. I can't wait to see the look on my daughters face when she sees the princesses for the first time.
