Uuuughh, sorry. Well, at least things should get better from here, right? Glad everyone seems to be healthy now.
Second place!!!thanks to their awesome coach, no doubt....
Poor baby in his cone of shame! Yea my girls are not fixed either so I have to lock my stud up when one or both of them go into heat. I want to fix the small one but my hubby keeps insisting she will get to fat. She has no fat on her tiny frame.....a little fat might be good for her. Now the bigger female is my males niece so I have to keep them separated we are still talking about breading her so right now no fixings......lol
And yes your new bag is adorable........love it , fits your three so well.....
drink lots of OJ get your vitamin C and maybe some Iron so you don't feel so warn out......![]()
Poor, Lex. I am glad he is doing better. I hate seeing dogs where that cone of shame, but it is for his own good.
No wonder you are exhausted? I'm exhausted just reading what made you exhausted. You need a weekend of rest, my dear.
I feel so badly for Lex and his cone of shame... MM had to have one when (gosh, I don't remember what for now...), and it was soooo sad.
I am happy you are feeling better, I've been worried aboot you!
Love ya!
D~
Poor Lex, I hope he makes a fast recovery! We haven't had to deal with a the cone of shame yet. Although we have had to deal with a case of poisoning that turned out to be fine, but gross to deal with.
Oh my gosh, poor Lex! I hope he gets better quick so he can get rid of that cone of shame!! We have had so many people at work sick, there's some really nasty stuff going around! Hope you're feeling back to normal soon!
Oh my gosh Mo! Your life is just insane. Thank goodness Lex is okay, even if he has to wear the cone of shame. Poor baby.
.I must have had some of the creeping crud yesterday, but am much better today. Still waiting to have a conference call with my doctor about the sinus issues but he is on vacation this week, so that might have to wait until next week
I swear that when it rains it pours... One of my former coworkers (she retired last year) passed away last week. This morning, another coworker's mom passed away and I just talked to my oldest daughter Kate - her boy friend's dad passed away this morning too. What in the world is going on????![]()
You need to take care - don't get exhausted past the point of getting ill - you hear me????
Glad that your Lex is feeling better. We did the heat thing one time with our boxer Laila. Never again. Laila started out as my daughters boyfriends dog. She came to "stay" with us for a few days while he moved from one apartment to another. 3 months later he was still assuring us that he was going to take her back and did not want to fix her because he wanted to breed her. She went through her first heat 5 months after she came to "stay" with us. That is when I revoked the boyfriends custody and Laila became a perminant part of our family. We got her spayed the second we could!
Wishing good weather comes your way soon!!!!
OH MY GOODNESS! what happened? Poison?!?!
We had a mouse at the beginning of last winter in our basement/family room. I put DH in charge of getting rid of it, sans rat poison... he bought the traps put them around the basement. When I finally looked at them, I threw them all away since they were "child safe/pet safe" traps with poison.Well I thought that I threw them all away, but he had put one in the laundry room behind the water heater, a room that almost always stays closed. But of course someone left the laundry door open and our Husky got it, tore the housing apart and ate the poison while I was at work.
A good friend of mine is a vet. nurse and she called animal poison control with me.
There is no antidote for the type of poison it was, and it affects dogs neurologically. LUCKILY, the amount that was in the trap was minuscule and our dog is over 75lbs and was showing no ill affects. We still had to turkey baste peroxide into her mouth to induce vomiting, but we were extremely lucky that she didn't end up with neurological damage or worse! DH is no longer allowed to buy mouse traps! His response... "It said pet safe!"
