I am impressed with your ability to keep this trip a secret. There is no way I would last with that.

I like the idea of a savings jar but would be putting gift cards in there as I am a big user of Disney gift cards. We like to get them for the gas savings.

I agree with your approach about the Poly. If that resort is where you really want to be then I suspect you will be very happy with your choice.

I also hear free dining will release the first week of May. I will be watching closely.

We can not make Magic Kingdom work for us on our first day so we will be sticking with our standby which is Hollywood Studios. Believe it or not that is actually our favorite park.

I made shirts last year for the first time and they turned out so well I will be doing it again for this trip.

We are doing MNSSHP with 9 people so alot of thought is going to have to go into costumes. I am looking forward to seeing everyone elses ideas. This will be our 4th time doing the party and we have learned over the years that we definitely need to keep the weather and comfort in mind.

This is KILLING me you have no idea. to see my kids BEGGING to go this year and even wanting to get 'jobs' to help pay for the trip... KILLS ME.. i hate to see hurt in my kids eyes...
The only thing keeping me together is Jen and her family, thinking of their surprise and JOY they will have on the day we leave...

I just want you to know that I just took down my Christmas decorations too. I usually leave them up until the first weekend after New Years, but, well with things the way they were this year, I didn't get to it until Saturday. My son, Andrew, gave me a hard time and told me it was bad luck to leave them up past Twelveth night. Oh well......

I started reading your beginning of the PTR from FB and when I realized there were 99 pages I hit last and it brought me here! I started reading, I'll catch up! I'm also going to Disney in September (hence being on the September FB group.. I sometimes have to point out the obvious, it's a disturbing habit). And it's my first time so I'm addicting myself to others PTR's and not actually doing one myself, and I'm pretty boring. But the fact that you do obedience with your dogs is awesome! I started showing in conformation 20 years ago, and my mom still shows but after moving out and having kids, I maybe show once a year.

I probably start a ptr eventually... I'm really starting to get into the planning stages! Especially the potential crafting frenzy i will begin! I'm sure I will do a TR anyhow because I'm a picture fanatic! And I've enjoyed reading everyone else's. We are going to be in Disney 9/13-9/19 And staying at ASMo. My children are sold on the enormous Dalmatians! We've been showing and breeding Shar-Pei, I owned an English Springer and a Short haired Pointer that I showed in conformation, juniors and dabbled in obedience and agility. I currently have a Lab that I want to making an obedience career with and try out agility, flyball and treiball classes but I really want to do therapy work with him!
