Watch fireworks and then stay for Fantasmic???

I have read that you can see the fireworks (not perfectly but you can see them) from the Fantasmic viewing area. If you do the fireworks first can you stay put and have a good viewpoint for Fantasmic???

It's usually the other way around, watch F! stay to watch the fireworks. But possible if you are in the F! area quickly to find a spot as someone leave and catch the fireworks. Though fireworks from that area are about 50% of the show.
