I was trying to explain 9/11 to my children (6 & 7) this morning while waiting for the bus. It was difficult trying to tell them what "bad people" had done and have them understand it. I will never forget that day and what I was doing when I heard about it. I will forever look at a clock and see 9:11 and think of that day, moment, tragedy....God bless all those families affected by this tragedy and God bless & thank you to all those that continue to protect us wether it be a policeman, fireman, soldier, social worker, teacher and so many other selfless people that work everyday for a better world.

I was pregnant with my oldest. I will never forget that morning. I watched as the second plane crashed into the towers. It was then that realized that it was a deliberate attack. The next few days are a blur of news coverage in my mind, but that first moment when I realized that someone had taken innocent lives on purpose is crystal clear.

I will never forget.
