I slept till 8:30. I got up had coffee then we went for a 2 mile walk. The Warden loves to walk in the morning.
Then home for the nurse and shower and I have done nothing else

Somehow my kids have a four day weekend. There's some teachers convention tomorrow. And then they have a professional development day on Monday. I'm guessing that's really a recovery day from all the partying that'll be taking place.

Shows what a Loser I am, IAHD!! I haven't even noticed the peep was still there. I remember having a discussion about what could get the peep out of the carpet. I guess no one got around to trying out the suggestions.

The peep was mine... or at least it was my son that made the mess... and I did try the suggestions.

For future reference, whatever you do, DO NOT iron a peep that is stuck in the carpet. NEVER. Trust me.

Use a hair dryer to soften it, then pick out what you can. Carpet cleaner will take care of the colored sugar stain and gooey residue.

I can also tell you how to clean diaper poo off the kitchen floor AND how to get fruit gummies out of mega bloks.

Remind me again why I had a second child?

It must be catching. It's only 9:30 and I have gone to Starbucks and Target,
done laundry, cleaned toilets, made the bed and taken out the trash. WTH is wrong with me? I think it might've been that triple venti pumpkin spice latte. We didn't have any coffee and I need to go get groceries but I usually like to shop on Friday so Starbuck it is! Besides--I had to buy socks--all I could find was one black sock. Do they migrate in the summmer? If so, mine didn't come back. I haven't seen socks since sometime last April but I couldn't go any longer. It was 31 degrees outside this morning and I needed socks

Well FE thought he was being a funny little smart *** when he came home from the FD this morning to get ready for work.
When I woke up he came over to my side of the bed and said very calmly, " Someone broke into the house last night (long pause inserted here for a facial response from me ) and cleaned up the foyer of all it's clutter and boxes." - that's him thinking he was funny
If I was alittle more awake than I was at the time I would have smacked him



Oh for our newest member-- FE (short for the screen name Fire_Eater) is my DH ( he's a Marine/Firefighter). He visits here from time to time, but probably not for awhile since he is taking classes everyday and isn't in his office.
