I can't imagine having my mom in my house for 6 months. I might be able to do it for 1 month but anything after that not so much. I really can't imagine having her here when her house was finished right next door. Yeah, that would not be a nice conversation.

Similar to a dog's whistle...husbands and children tune out all frequencies that suggest a request that something is accomplished. However, they can hear the whisper of a lid being lifted off of a container of ice cream from miles away.

My husband suffered from occasional loss of hearing and smell when the kids were in diapers. Funny how that cleared up whenever I was baking cookies.

In other news, my husBAD has decided to work from home again today. The girl and I will be escaping to...somewhere. Current contenders are the grocery store, Office Max and Target. I predict Target will win by a landslide...
