Good mornin' all!

I have been sick. It started with a sore throat last week and knocked me down about Monday! I don't have patience for this stuff.

I didn't get a flu shot this year and I thought I was gonna make it without getting sick once this winter but....nope. DS seems to be coming down with it next. He is supposed to leave on a band trip Sunday and I hope he gets a handle on this so he doesn't have to miss it.

How's the house cleaning coming along?? I really need to catch up on everything since I have been in bed for d a y s on end!!

My sister-in-law is due in town in a couple of weeks. DH will be out of town that week and he let her know. He told me not to open the door to her if she shows up at the house while he is gone....he doesn't want to hear about it from either one of us if we get together!

I hope you are feeling better.

The house is quiet today. DS is out of town on a band trip and DH is at the office. Did anyone watch the awards last night? I don't watch them any more....I just google the results the next day.

I was just watching The View and they were covering how Pitt/Jolie and Aniston were all at the awards last night and the camera was focused on Pitt/Jolie when Aniston was on stage. Then, I guess, after the awards, Pitt/Jolie disappeared from sight while Aniston partied the night away. Funny how awkward everyone is about that triangle.

I am feeling better today. Hope everyone else is doing well this week!

Good morning! I hope everyone is feeling healthy today.

We are in winter storm warning mode until 5:00pm and we have a few inches on the ground.

Last night, I took DS to the airport to greet some friends that were coming back from Europe and guess who was there? DSIL!! She had come in on the same plane. We didn't speak. She approached DS as she was leaving the airport and they exchanged some pleasantries. Isn't that sad?? DMIL passed a couple of years ago and things have just gotten bad with DH's siblings since then.

I have to go out in the snow today. I am watching a toaster oven that is on clearance at Target....I want it to go down some more. They mark down their clearance on Thursdays and I want to check and see if it got cheaper. I also have to check the mail and run some errands.

Hellloooooooooooo everyone out there in Loser Land!!

I am enjoying my day so far. I had to do a little work this morning (taking pix for the insurance company), but since then I have kicked hubby out of the house, taken a nice, loooooooong, hot bubble bath, and I've even added a bit of Baileys to my coffee.

It's a great day, isn't it?

Here's to hoping your day is as good as mine!

I bought my cheap toaster oven even tho' the price hadn't gone down any more. $12 for a toaster oven isn't bad. So, I'm happy!

We're supposed to have temps in the 40's tomorrow. We may be swimming out of here if that happens!

Mtblu, it was a short lived little vacation. The insurance adjustor called (long story) and needed a ton of crap from me.

But for about 2 hours, it was all good!
