Well it's only 19 days from today that we leave, and we ony have weekends to get anything accomplished. We have to keep it in a storage yard and it was warm and sunny this weekend, so my husband wanted to tackle that job while he could. It will stay clean until we leave as it is not stored under trees.
We usually leave at 5:30 am on Sat. morning, so only thing we have to put in at the last minute are the refrigerated items.
Good luck with your planning and we will look for you there.
The last couple days we took advantage of the unseasonably nice mild weather here in northern Ohio to wash/wax our 5er and put a coat of rubber roofing down. Unfortunately its still 57 days till we arrive at the fort. Thought we'd get it done now instead of when its 20 degrees and blowing snow the end of Dec. It'll need washed when we get to Fla. anyways----seems we always get the rig covered in salt and grim on the trip. Get the fort warmed up for us and don't forget to leave the light on!
We arrive on Sunday after Thanksgiving but we're getting ready. We also only have weekends. I get anxious to get it done so there's time for one last check before the 5:30 am alarm.
Oh yeah thanks for the reminder. I have to print and laminate a new Fort Fiend lime green sign as the last one I had on my Mickey light post got soggy from the rain on Labor Day weekend and I had to throw it out.
On the plus side, I just bought a new Mickey blowup , a Disney Musical Christmas tree and a light up Mickey window decoration all from Walgreens. So, now I have all the stuff I need to decorate my site with, I just have to stop spending money and pay for the rest of the nightes of my FW stay.
We washed our camper last weekend also. We all get to the Fort on the day after Thanksgiving. I to will display the green mickey head so I can try and meet some of you all. Please stop and say hello! SEE YA ALL AT THE FORT!!
